The 13th Annual Citrus Kids Triathlon, a USA TRIATHLON sanctioned event, is back by popular demand with a Junior Division (Born 2016-2021), Senior Division (Born 2011-2015) and a Tri4Fun division that is open to any aged Youth, Adult or Family. Children ages 5-15 can participate in the Age Group divisions. If you just want to TRI a triathlon then enter the non-competitive Tri4Fun division where adults and children can go together.

Mandatory Packet Pickup AND Bike Drop-Off will be on Friday from 4:00PM-6:30PM and will be held in conjunction with hourly course clinics and a Kids Kickoff Party.

(NOTE: There will be Law Enforcement Security overnight at the race site.)

Your admission includes a Custom Event T-Shirt, Spectacular Finisher Medals, a Backpack full of goodies, plenty of food & drinks, Music, Games and Activities for the whole family and just maybe a really cool award if you finish in the TOP 3 of your age group.

4:00-6:30PM - Mandatory Packet Pick Up & Bike Check-In at Bicentennial Park (Race Site)

4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm - Hourly Walking Course Clinics with the Race Director

Saturday, May 2, 2025:

7:00 AM - Senior Parking Access & Check-in Opens

7:45 AM - Senior Pre-Race Meeting (Mandatory)

8:00 AM - Senior Division Starts

9:00 AM - Senior Awards Ceremony

9:00 AM - Junior & Tri4Fun Parking Access & Check-in Opens

9:45 AM - Junior Pre-Race Meeting (Mandatory)

10:00 AM - Junior Division Starts

10:30 AM - Tri4Fun Starts (All Ages including Adults)

11:30 PM - Junior Awards Ceremony (time is approximate)

ENTRY FEES:

Early Registration (by April 19th) $25.00

Late Registration (by April 29th) $30.00

Day of Race Registration (by May 2nd) $35.00

AWARDS

Awards given for top 3 Boys and Girls in each 1 Year Age Group

Every participant will receive a custom finisher medal as they cross the finish line!

All proceeds to benefit the Citrus County Education Foundation.

This race will be an official USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event in 2026

Triathlon: Swim 0.25 Mile, Bike 12 Miles, Run 3 Miles.

Duathlon: Run 1 Miles, Bike 12 Miles, Run 3 Miles.

Aquabike: Swim .25 Mile, Bike 12 Miles, Run thru the Finish Line

YOU MUST HAVE your USAT card and picture ID at packet pick up

If you want to pick up a packet for someone other than yourself, please request an Affidavit Form at [email protected]. This is the only way to pick up someone else's packet, no exceptions!

FRIDAY:

At this time, there will be NO EARLY PACKET PICKUP for Crystal River Tri You can pick up your packet on Saturday morning at the race site.

SATURDAY:

6:00 AM Registration Opens; Day of Race registration (if available), check-in, packet pick up.

7:30 AM - First Wave Start

10:30 AM - COURSE CLOSED
