    Ever wanted to do a triathlon? Looking for a group of like minded individuals to train with while learning from some of the best in the sport?

    Join New Wave Triathlon Club for our spring triathlon training camp! Camp will kick off the week of March 30, 2026 and conclude with the Pineppleman Triathlon on June 7, 2026. This triathlon training camp is for ALL experience levels, paces and speeds. You do not need to be racing Pineappleman Triathlon to be part of the camp.

    Coaching will be conducted by Rebekah Ash and Yagen Gutierrez. All training will be delivered via Final Surge, and the weekly in person training schedule is as follows:

    • Tuesday 6pm: Optional run speed workout at rotating locations

    • Thursday 6pm: Open water swim at Rotary Park

    • Saturday 7am: Longer ride / brick workout from Oars and Paddles park

    • Sunday 7am: Long run at rotating locations

    Other notable dates:

    • Saturday, April 11th - Bike handling and transition skills practice

    • Saturday, May 9th - 7am Mock (practice) triathlon at Ryckman Park

    • Saturday, June 6th - Swim Course preview on the Pineappleman Triathlon swim course (Ryckman Park)

    • **Due to the club supporting Ironman Jacksonville, the weekend of May 16-17 will be an independent training weekend (you will receive all training details ahead of time and accountability following!)

    Join us for the Historic Rotary Pineapple Man Triathlon. Founded in 1985, the Rotary Pineapple Man Triathlon is the oldest USAT sanctioned triathlon in the state of Florida.

    5:00 AM: Body marking on sidewalk between Historic Ryckman House and Transition Area

    6:25 AM: Sunrise

    6:40 AM: Transition Closes / Final Call for participants to go to Pier end

    6:45 AM: Pre-Race Meeting on Pier

    6:55 AM: National Anthem at Pier end

    7:00 AM: Race Starts

    9:00 AM: Awards Ceremony (Approx. Time)

    TRIATHLON COURSE - SWIM/BIKE/RUN

    SWIM: 0.25 mile Rectangle course around the historic Melbourne Beach Pier in the Indian River Lagoon.

    BIKE: 12 miles Out and back loop; includes a 4 mile straight-away along side a string of ocean side parks and wildlife preserves south on A1A – long, straight, flat and fast.

    RUN: 3.1 miles (5K) Loop through peaceful residential beach-side neighborhoods with water available at miles 1 and 2

    DUATHLON COURSE - RUN/BIKE/RUN

    RUN #1: 2 miles Loop through residential beach-side neighborhoods with water available at miles 1 Start is simultaneous with the first swim wave.

    BIKE: 12 miles Out and back loop; includes a 4 mile straight-away along side a string of ocean side parks and wildlife preserves south on A1A – long, straight, flat and fast.

    RUN #2: 3.1 miles (5K) Loop through peaceful residential beach-side neighborhoods with water available at miles 1 and 2.

    AQUABIKE COURSE - SWIM/BIKE

    Awards 3 deep in 5 year Age Groups (14 & under thru 85 & up) , Clydesdale (Men 220+lbs), Athena (Women 165+ lbs), Physically Challenged, Military/LEO/PSO, Novice, Fat Tire, and Relay Teams.

    NOVICE: Awards for Top 10 Fastest Males & Females
