3 running and walking events in Avon Park, Florida

The 12th Annual Parkview Panda Prance 5K (actually a 4K distance) will include both in-person and virtual racing options this year!!! The 12th Annual Parkview Panda Prance 5K Run/Walk will be held in-person on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 8:30 am (race time). The start/finish line will be at Parkview Prep Academy (109 A Miracle Ave., Avon Park, FL).

Virtual Race Info: The actual racing course is 2.4 miles. You will be able to complete your 2.4 mile or 4k run/walk distance between January 5th and March 5th on a route in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, in your house, around your yard, or a course. After running/walking, you will email us your name, age, and time. This can be done by using an app on your phone, Fitbit, Apple watch, etc. and taking a screenshot or picture of the time, date, etc. There are a ton of apps out there that measure your distance and time very easily. Some of the apps include: MapMyRun, RunTracker, Runkeeper, Nike Run Club, Strava, and so on. The email address is: parkviewprek@gmail.com. Come join me as I celebrate my 37th birthday with a 3.7-mile run or walk at the Boys and Girls Club track. You can run, walk, stroll, and bring the kids! It’s a fun day of celebration and good vibes.
