ARC RUN 2026
Please join us for our largest fundraiser of the year to support our mission and community impact! The Arc Run 2026 includes two on-site races on September 19, 2026, as well as a virtual race spanning August 19 - September 19.
The on-site 5K and 10K races utilize our USATF-certified course beginning and ending at 200 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT. For us, our course passes through portions of Meriden and Wallingford to emphasize our deep roots and decades of service to both communities. For you, our course allows your race to be a marathon-qualifying time (stay tuned for details)!

Cash prizes are available for the top-performing male and female runners. All runners will be automatically entered into our prize raffle upon registration. Both cash prizes and raffle prizes will be announced during the award ceremonies. Runners do not need to be present to win.
This year, the Arc Run will also be hosting a vendor fair from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM! To become a vendor, hit the "Become a Sponsor" at the top of the page and select the "Vendor Booth" option.
Choose between a 4 or 9 mile trail race in the Cockaponsett State Forest in Chester, CT.
The 4 miler is the first part of the 9 mile course. The course consists of roots, rocks, muddy sections and several hills. The first 1/2 mile is on a road which helps spread the runners out prior to the start of the trails. Water stations are at miles 2, 4, 6 and 7.
NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. Bib pick up opens at 8 am. Race starts at 9 am. Please note if you have out of state plates, the park requires you to pay a parking fee.
FREE registration to runners 75 or older.
Trails to a Cure is part of the Blue Blazed Trail Race series.

Run for the river in the 4th Annual Hartford HealthCare Community 5K in partnership with Riverfront Recapture on Saturday, September 26, 2026! This 5K will begin and end at the Hartford HealthCare Community Stage at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in Hartford, running along the Connecticut River and through Riverfront Recapture's beautiful parks.
*Please note terrain will include dirt trails, wooded trails, grass and paved walkways.

Parking: Parking: Free parking is available on-street on both sides of the river. Paid, convenient parking is available in the Connecticut Convention Center Garage – park on the fifth floor and use the exit on the north side of the garage, allowing direct access to Mortensen Riverfront Plaza.
Run with us on Sunday morning, September 27, 2026 on the newly restored Moosup Valley State Park Trail, in Moosup CT. The Kids Fun Run begins at 9:30 am and the 10K race begins at 10:10 am, with the 5K immediately afterwards, about 10:20.

This earth-friendly road race features a spectacularly scenic course in rural Eastern Connecticut. The event begins and ends at the Historic Comstock covered bridge and follows the Salmon River through the State Forest and along an old railroad bed. The course features varied terrain, including pavement, dirt roads, and improved trails, culminating in a fast downhill finish. Post race, an amazing BBQ feast and awards ceremony on the banks of the Salmon River awaits.

The Ivoryton Pumpkin Chase is a 5K Road/Trail Race and a Kiddie Pumpkin Fun Run (age 7 and below) to benefit the Ivoryton Library and takes place in peak foliage season of southern New England. The course begins along North Main Street for approximately ½ mile before turning left down Falls River Drive. At the one mile mark, the course enters the Falls River Preserve for a 1.1 mile trail loop that meanders along the Falls River. The trail is double track for about ½ mile before it turns into hilly and rocky single track. Care must be taken on the trail due to the presence some jagged rocks and roots. Please be aware that the trail can be slippery in wet conditions.
Participants will receive a free t-shirt with registration before September 18. Registrations after September 18 and day of registrations will receive a t-shirt while supplies last.

Both courses showcase Grills Preserve in Westerly, and the 10-Mile course also features beautiful trails, bridges, and riverfront in the Grills Wildlife Sanctuary in Hopkinton. The course is a mix of about 80% single-track and 20% double-track.
Join us on Sunday, October 25th at 10 AM for the CT Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Run! All proceeds from the event benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and local law enforcement related charities.

St. Michael's School annual Turkey Trot. In keeping with tradition, we are excited to host our 16th Annual 5K Road Race. This is a race for all running styles, challenge yourself to run a timed 5K or work on a personal record for yourself as a more advanced runner There is also a 1 mile untimed fun run for the kiddos or anyone that wants to do a shorter distance. This event will take place: Saturday, November 1, 2025, @ 9am in Pawcatuck, CT. Race Day Check-in: 7:30-8:30am. This event will take place rain or shine. Food and beverage will be provided.
