Sweetheart City Racing is excited to hold this year’s event once again. With a race start and awards in Downtown Loveland, it will be right in the center of the action of the Loveland Sweetheart Festival. You will love our beautiful course through Downtown Loveland! Due to construction, this year will be a 5K course. Every participant will receive a long-sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, custom bib, a free beer from Loveland Aleworks, and more!

The race will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. Racers will need to arrive early to ensure smooth parking (as it is limited) as well as an on-time start. Join us on February 14th for a day full of fun, love, and fitness as we work to raise money for the Thompson School District High School and Middle School Cross Country/Track teams.

When you are registering as a couple, make sure one person completes the registration process and pays the couple's pricing. Then, after the first person has registered, the second person will go and JOIN that team, and pay nothing.

    Race First Stop:

Is parking available? Yes. There is a free parking garage, downtown parking spots, and lots near the start/finish line. Start/finish line is near Cleveland and 4th.

Am I guaranteed a shirt? To be guaranteed a shirt you must register by Jan 30th. We always order extras but register early to guarantee you get one! We always have other swag available if we run out of shirts.

Is there race day registration? Yes. ALL registration is online. If you want to pay with cash or check please see one of the volunteers to assist you. Price goes up on race day. Please see the pricing on the registration link.

Will you cancel the race if it’s cold, snowing, windy or rainy? No. We will hold the event rain or shine. Lightening will delay the event, but that chance is very, VERY slim.

Where is Pre-Race PACKET TBD, Friday, February 13th, 5:30pm-6:30pm. You can pick up LIVE and VIRTUAL packets here. We encourage you to pick up your packet on Friday night and not race day.

Race Day Packet pickup will be held 8:30am-9:15am near the start/finish line. Look for the huge arch on 4th St.

Where can I pick up my virtual packet? If you have not picked up your packet at any available times listed above, we will take the virtual packets to a sponsor’s place of business and contact you through email. If you would like it mailed, please choose the add-on “P&H for Virtual packets” when you register. Those needing to be mailed will be mailed the following week.

More information can be found at sweetheartcityracing.com

Please reach out for payment options if you want your virtual packet mailed. Otherwise, please plan on picking up your packet during the packet pickup times.

Are you ready to test your limits and honor our heroes?

Join us for the 5th Annual Health4Heroes Guardian Games, an electrifying Military and First Responder-inspired fitness competition like no other! Returning Saturday, June 13th, 2026, at Loveland Sports Park from 8 AM to 3 PM, this year’s event is bigger, tougher, and more exciting than ever, with new challenges and opportunities to showcase your strength, resilience, and teamwork.

Athletes will compete in teams of two, navigating a gauntlet of high-intensity events designed to push them to their physical and mental limits. The competition culminates in a final race, where grit, strategy, and team cohesion are the keys to victory. Just like our nation’s top-performing Military and First Responders, success at the Guardian Games means leaning on your teammate and finding strength in unity—because you’re only as strong as your weakest link.

TAKE YOUR COMMITMENT TO THE NEXT LEVEL – FUNDRAISE FOR HEROES!

During registration, athletes can choose to become a fundraiser and waive the registration fee. We’ll provide a custom link to share with friends and family to raise vital funds for Health4Heroes. We make it easy—you just have to share it! A special prize awaits the biggest fundraiser.

Sign up now to secure your spot in the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and heart!

Loveland Lake to Lake Triathlon has welcomed athletes from Northern Colorado, this entire state, region, country, and outside the USA for 24 years and we are excited about our 2025 edition.

Athletes have ONE OPPORTUNITY each summer to compete at this beautiful venue. Loveland CO~ one opportunity, one time each summer on a Saturday morning in June.

Lake to Lake Events is proudly known for striking the perfect balance between providing a very beginner-friendly experience where athletes who are new to the sport can ask the questions they need to feel comfortable and have a successful day (everyone from our staff to volunteers, our sponsors, and other athletes are willing to help) and at the same time attracting a high level of talent from outside the state as well as athletes from CU and CSU.

Racing for YOUR reason ~ whether you’re seeking an introduction to multi-sport, improvement upon your performance from the year past, competing for a slot at USAT Nationals (this is a USAT-sanctioned event), or coming out and competing with family and friends, we welcome all athletes to compete and improve at your level. An event known for its friendly local atmosphere, lovely venue, tremendous volunteer force, and a great race course.

No matter the athlete’s background, everyone will be able to relish in our friendly local atmosphere, incredible volunteer support, a scenic course, and a shady venue that makes spectating enjoyable for the whole family (even a playground for the kids!). Plus, you won’t find a better post-race meal anywhere else.
