Join us for a Kids’ Splash & Dash Series this spring at the Louisville Rec Center!
Get ready for a fun, energetic winter racing experience! Each event features an indoor swim in the Louisville Rec Center pool, followed by a run on the outdoor trail. In the case of bad weather, the run will move indoors to the running track.
This series is open to kids ages 6–14.
Register for a single race or sign up for the full series. Athletes who complete all races will earn points toward becoming the Series Champion.
Age Groups & Distances
6–8 yrs: 50-yard swim / 0.65-mile run
9–11 yrs: 100-yard swim / 1.3-mile run
12–14 yrs: 150-yard swim / 1.95-mile run
*Age is determined by the child’s age on December 31, 2026.
This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon, which means all participants must have a current annual USAT membership. If you don’t already have one, you will be prompted to purchase it during registration for $10. The membership is valid for 12 months and only needs to be purchased once per year and can be used at any USA Triathlon sanctioned race during that 12 month period.
