The High Lonesome 100 is a high flying endurance race in the Sawatch range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. With 23,500' of vertical gain and reaching an elevation of 13,100', it's a hell of a
course. The race runs in a loop through some of the most beautiful single track in the state, and takes runners on the Continental Divide and Colorado Trail, through 2 ghost towns, over 5 alpine passes, through remote basins, and over soaring ridges. It's also run and staffed by experienced and quality individuals, so you'll get to be a part of a wonderful community. If you're looking for a true mountain race, created in the spirit of the classic 100 milers, then look no further.

After the run, head over to the NW Fire Protection District Fire Station for a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by IAFF Union Local 5227.

The 17th Annual Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival (RGWF) features whitewater competitions and land-based recreation events to celebrate the whitewater season. Enjoy summer flows in a fantastic
whitewater setting in historic Cañon City, Colorado. Held in the refurbished and family-friendly Centennial Park, the Whitewater Festival pairs boats, bands, and beer for a weekend of fun-filled (and whitewater-fueled) events. It's the biggest party of the summer in Cañon City and one not to be missed. It's all about "Boats, Bands, Bikes, and Beer!"

This clinic will focus on beginermediate to intermediate skills and is for riders who already
have a solid grasp of the fundamental bike handling skills: neutral and ready position, bike-body separation, and controlled braking. We will keep the group small to allow for personalized feedback as we use the bike skills park at Red Rock Canyon Open Space to focus on:
Maintaining momentum in rough terrain
Safely rolling down small to medium ledges
Riding narrow bridges with confidence
Please check in by 5:45 to find your group. Skill clinics are only available for WMBA members and do require an additional $25 sign up fee. (Please note: Refunds will be issued if you cancel your reservation up to 2 days prior to the event. Within 2 days, no refund will be issued)

The 14er Challenge is headed to Chaffee County and the Collegiate Peaks. We’ll be camping at a lovely private ranch that backs up to Mt. Princeton’s famous Chalk Cliffs. Day 1 hike is Mt. Princeton
and Day 2 is Mt. Antero. We hope you’ll join us in this beautiful new location! Space is limited to 40 climbers, so secure your spot today and join us at Basecamp for an unforgettable celebration!
