Colorado's classic alpine cycling event, the Copper Triangle, offers breathtaking scenery, stunning roads, and three challenging climbs. This 79-mile course features a total elevation gain of 6,500 feet, starting and ending at Copper Mountain Resort’s Burning Stones Plaza. With ample aid stations and enthusiastic support along the route, you're set for an unforgettable day in the saddle.

In addition to a great experience on your bike, each participant will receive:

    • Commemorative Cycling Jersey or Tech Tee

    • Finisher Metal

    • Number plate & bib

    • Amply stocked aid stations with healthy and energizing refreshments

    • Post-ride Celebration to include lunch, beer garden, expo and entertainment

    • A chance to win valuable prizes

If your jersey or tech tee does not fit, subject to availability, you may exchange it at our merchandise booth during the event. Please note that due to limited inventory we can not guarantee that all sizes will be available. Jersey and Tech tee Size Chart

    Join Team DPF

Since 2006, fundraising efforts tied to the Copper Triangle have resulted in more than $1 million for the Davis Phinney Foundation. You can further support the cause by joining Team DPF. Thanks in advance for your contribution in helping people who live with Parkinson’s live well today.

    Start Time

Please plan to begin your ride between 6 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. All riders must be on the road by 8:00 a.m. We encourage riders to begin early to avoid afternoon mountain thunderstorms and highway traffic. Colorado State Patrol will not allow anyone to start prior to first light (5:45 a.m.) and all cyclists must have both a front and back light on their bike.

    Youth & Development:

For a limited time, we are offering youth/children 16 years and younger the opportunity to participate for free.

In true cycling tradition, the Copper Triangle will take place regardless of weather; therefore refunds will not be provided.
