This is it: the race of all races. One hundred miles across the high-altitude, extreme terrain of the Colorado Rockies, this event was created for only the most determined athletes. Starting at 10,152 feet and climbing to 12,424 feet, you’ll be challenged to catch your breath—while the views try to take it away.
The Chris Klug Foundation (CKF) has been a charity partner with Lifetime since 2012, raising over $250,000+ for CKF's programs. CKF's Leadville Trail 100 charity team helps to educate others on the facts of organ, eye & tissue donation, while raising awareness for the those awaiting a lifesaving transplant nationwide.
Join us for Cirque Series at Arapahoe Basin. 9.4 miles featuring 2,211' ft vert.
Prizes
Prizes will be distributed at the end of each race and for the overall series winners. There are three categories in which the prizes will be given out: Sport, Expert and Pro. Prizes for each race are as follows:

2nd place - $250 cash each race
3rd place - $150 cash each race

1st - $400 in Gear each race
2nd - $250 in Gear each race

Grom Award - youngest competitor will be recognized.
OG Award - wisest competitor will be recognized.
Lexie Award - the "unofficial MVP" of the race will be recognized.
Middle of the Pack Award - the person that finished exactly middle will be recognized.

Bibs / Timing Chips
Cirque Series will utilize Competitive Timing to time the event with a disposable chip placed on the back of your bib. Please do not fold, crush or remove the chip from the bib. You may dispose of the chip/bib after the race is over.

Please help us preserve the beauty of our mountains and assist in maintaining an enjoyable, safe event for everyone involved.
Please respect private property near the trails. Do not trespass.
No littering: Participants are encouraged to carry water and food during the event.
Please dispose of all waste and recyclables in the proper containers.
Please be respectful of all Forest Service officials.
Do not impede another runner.

Be a hero for children in need by participating in our annual CASA Superhero Run. Your involvement helps us provide crucial advocacy and support for abused and neglected children in our community.
This exciting event will feature a 5K race and a 1-mile Kids Fun Run, ensuring fun for the entire family. Superhero costumes are encouraged, but not required.

Lodging
Our Host Lodging is Elevation Hotel and Spa. Use the link below for discounts of $189/night and ½ off resort and parking fees. Elevation is at the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort and only yards away from the start/finish line.
Camping
There will be limited Camping available as pictured in the race book. At this camping area, there will be 3 portable toilets and a dumpster for your use. Please use these toilets and the dumpster for your trash. Use of public restrooms at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is permitted during business hours but use of any facilities in nearby lodges are not permitted.
NO FIRES at campsite. You may use gas cooking stoves for cooking.
Quiet hours for the camp site are from 9pm to 7am.
Since this camping area is a limited space, we are asking that everyone keep their camping footprint as small as possible. After building your camp site, you can park your vehicles in a parking lot designated for overnight parking.
There is no fee for camping. It's first come, first serve on camping spots starting Friday 18 September. We only ask that you abide by the rules stated above and in the race book so that we can continue to offer FREE camping at our event.

The Oktoberfest 5K is back again this fall offering an active start to a festive weekend. Lace up your running shoes and experience the changing aspens and beautiful scenery in this 5K trail run on Town of Breckenridge Trails, finishing in time to enjoy the Breckenridge Oktoberfest celebration. The race is open to 300 runners.
THIS RACE FINISHES ON MAIN STREET BRECKENRIDGE AT BLUE RIVER PLAZA. OKTOBERFEST KICKS OFF AT THE BLUE RIVER PLAZA AT 10:00AM (Course subject to change from last year).
Pre-registration closes at 8:00am Friday, September 12. Fees are: Adults (18 and older) $40 and Youth (17 and under) $15. The first 250 registrants will recieve an Oktoberfest 5K long sleeve tech shirt.
Same-day registration begins at 8:30am (if available and not sold out).
Fees are: Adults $40 and Youth $15 and includes an Oktoberfest 5K t-shirt.

In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen trail conditions, the race director reserves the right to delay, cancel or reschedule the race. There are no refunds in the event of cancellation.
With glorious views of the Collegiate Peaks and 4,000ft of ascent along the way, these 18 or 30 miles of buttery single track and forest roads are perfect for everyone from the first time trail runner to the veteran ultra runner. Although the Arkansas Valley is famously known for its high alpine peaks, it’s a well kept secret that there’s a stash of arid, desert style trails just outside of Buena Vista (BEW-na Vista), CO - giving the West Line a feel like no other.
The West Line Winder is put on by Freestone Endurance (the same folks that bring you the High Lonesome 100) and is a perfect fall race for any runner!
West Line Winder is hosted by the 14er Fest which takes place Sept 27 - 29th in Buena Vista, CO. At the heart of the festival, you'll find that 14er Fest seeks to join together a wide variety of trail users, including both motorized and non-motorized trail enthusiasts. It's visions is to create a platform where all trial groups can recreate and work together to keep trails open and maintained. Join us for trail events, clinics, festival camping, live music, local libations and amazing vendors.
As an added challenge, runners can attempt the Sawatch 50/50 by registering for the Sawatch Ascent 50k on the same weekend! Finishers of the Sawatch 50/50 will get a special award and place awards for the top 3 overall men and women. Runners can camp at the Sawatch Ascent start/finish line (Nathrop, CO) for $15/night. Space is limited to 35 spots and can be purchased at the Sawatch Ascent webstore.
Cancellation, Deferral, and refund Policy: Runners can defer 50% of their entry to the following year so long as they request it by September 1st. There is no refund in the event of a cancellation.
The West Elk Challenge is a point-to-point trail marathon (and 30K) through the heart of the West Elk Mountains during the peak of fall colors. Descriptions: Marathon: The marathon race starts on the shores of Crawford Reservoir State Park and travels on gravel roads through the farms and ranches at the base of the iconic Needle Rock. Soon thereafter, the trail enters the Gunnison National Forest and begins climbing the singletrack through golden aspen stands on the slopes of Mt. Lamborn. After about 5 miles of climbing, runners top the 9,762 foot summit of Inter-Ocean Pass, and descend through spruce, aspen and oak, past Lone Cabin Reservoir to end in the quaint little town of Paonia. The race is on singletrack trails for over half of the course! 30K: The 30K picks up with the marathoners at the base of Needle Rock (~mile 7 aid station) and follows along gravel roads for four miles before entering the Gunnison National Forest. It follows the same course up and over Inter-Ocean Pass and down into Paonia. Free shuttle is provided pre-race from Paonia to the starting lines at Crawford State Park and 30K. 30K participants will be
shuttled to their start line (you cannot drive to the 30K start line), and 30K participants can either grab the shuttle in Paonia OR at Crawford State Park. Shuttles will be provided back to Crawford State Park for those runners who choose to drive to the start line. Horsetooth Reservoir and Lory State Park are ideal locations for a swimrun event due to their scenic and varied landscapes. The event offers a combination of open-water swimming in the reservoir and trail running through Lory State Park’s diverse trails, which cater to different skill levels and provide breathtaking views. The proximity of these two venues allows for a seamless transition between swimming and running, making it an exciting and challenging experience for participants and providing event organizers with access to amenities and support infrastructure. Ease into race mode with a pre-race shakeout in the Swimming Area at Horsetooth Reservoir. Spend your post-race recovery in the sauna and cold plunge at the finish line.
Join us on Sunday, October 4, for a Halloween themed 5K run or walk beginning at Koch park and winding through the Marolt foot path and open space with your furry friends, or without! This is a timed race with cash prizes for top 3 female and male finishers. All net proceeds benefit the Friend of the Aspen Animal Shelter. Please have your pets come in costume! There will be prizes for best costumes, raffle prizes, food trucks.
