    Welcome to the 8th Annual "Tracy PAL Donut Dash" benefiting the Tracy community and the Police Activities League (PAL) presented by Kaiser Permanente. This exciting community event promotes youth development, fitness, and public safety while raising funds to support PAL’s mentorship, educational, and recreational programs that serve youth in our community.

    This event is designed to promote health, wellness, and bringing the community together.

    Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026

    Location: 1001 Cambridge Place, Tracy CA 95377

    Area: Monticello Elementary School & Edgar Thoming Park. The event starts and finishes on Cambridge Place between Edgar Thoming Park and Monticello Elementary School.

    Parking: There will be parking signage for all to follow.

    Professional Timing and Start/Finish Line: Brazen Racing

    Event Management: Tracy Police Activities League Board of Directors: Richard Graham, Alex Contreras, Ayesha Nic-Gongora, Ahnjolique Haskins.

    Woof Alert: We love dogs. However, dogs are not allowed during the 5K event.

    Course Map: Stay tuned for directional/elevation map.

    First Event of the 2026 California Cup

    Held under USAC Rules and Permit 2026-16066

    Date: Sunday August 2, 2026.

    Location: Patterson Pass Rd at Midway Rd west of Hwy 580 southwest of Tracy, CA.

    Directions: From Hwy 580 between Livermore and Hwy 5, south of Tracy, take the Patterson Pass Road exit and turn west 2 miles, park where indicated. From Hwy 205, take Mountain House Parkway exit west of Tracy and head south 5 miles (MH becomes PattersonPass and crosses 580 enroute). Watch for no parking signs and pay attention to them. Don’t park in driveways. Address: 16116 Patterson Pass Road, Tracy, CA 95391

    Registration: Opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes 15 minutes before each start. for all categories, at the corner of Midway and PattersonPass. Do not park on Patterson where road is narrow or on Midway west of Patterson.

    Course: (same as last 25 years) Loop: Patterson Pass WEST from registration, north on Flynn, north on Carroll (after freeway), east on Altamont Pass Road, east on Grant Line, south on Midway back to start/finish area. A 23 mile loop with a lot of up and downhill (mountainous) in the first half, rolling in the second half. Two very fast descents. Same finish line as last 4 years on Midway on the top of the hill ½ mile before (north of) registration.

    *Women’s races are by the 2-distance plan of the NCNCA: Cat 3 and 4 can ride either the long or short distance.

    How to Enter:

    ---via On-line at www.bikereg.com from now to July 26 for above fees plus on-line surcharge. From July 27-29, the fee on-line is $15 additional. No on-line entry after midnight PST July 29. You may need to sign and date your entry form/release at race registration desk. Entry will be available onrace day (see below)

    ---By Mail: You may still enter by mail, but if a group is filling, go on-line. By mail, send standard USAC entry form/release along with fee above (if Postmarked by Friday July 24 to Velo Promo/Patterson Pass, 19780 Soulsbyville Road, Soulsbyville, CA 95372. For those postmarked after, add $15. Note: indicate what category you are entering on check or form. Entries for several races in one envelope ok, but be sure to list race names on the outside. Envelopes without names of races on the outside may go to the wrong race. Mail in entries will not be processed until after the opening of online reg.

    ---At Race: You may enter at the race, provided your event is not filled, for the above listed fee plus $15.

    2026 USAC license required (available at race). One day licenses are available only for Novice riders (formerly Category 5) . Entry fees include $3 NCNCA and $5.99 USAC insurance surcharges. Numbers will be provided.

    Credit for another VP race will be given if you follow the below procedure by 5 pm Wednesday 7/29 letting us know that you can't compete. No credit issued if you plan to enter another race instead; no cash refunds. No substitutions (transferring to another rider) for cancellations. Procedure: Go to "Edit My Entry" link on the BikeReg.com registration page, in your confirmation email, or in your BikeReg account to access this credit system.

    Champion Discounts: Champions pay normal fees up front; Current NorCal/Nevada District Road Race Champions and National Road Champions will get a refund at the reg desk of all but $9 per day if 1) their entry is received by the deadline above (otherwise they pay full fee, including late fee) and 2) they ride in the category they won the championship in (Master Champions may ride down in age, and ride for $9, and Juniors may ride up. District jersey is not required

    Rules: Official support vehicles around course only. No non-official vehicles allowed on downhill of Patterson Pass Road. Feed Zone two miles west of reg on Patterson Pass. (That means feed vehicles have to backtrack when done to start). Neutral water Feed will be available, more info later. Centerline rule enforced; Rules for CHP-controlled stop signs will be explained at start. Bring a pump and a spare, there may be no follow vehicles. Neutral Support Vehicles Needed: We need to get vehicle and driver info at least 10 days early, and produce an MVR at USAC and background check prior to race day for insurance for liability reasons. There is other traffic on the roadway; always be aware of it and be prepared to slow and/or maneuver; warn riders behind you of hazards. Other NCNCA and USAC rules will be posted at registration; please read them. If Freeway traffic gets diverted to Altamont Road (due to potential traffic/accidents on 580) , there may be delays at the corner of Altamont and

    Grant Line.
