Crush Challenge: the ultimate food, wine, and cycling event in Napa Valley!
Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park in Yountville to check in and enjoy light refreshments, with a 9:15 a.m. start time. Experience the beauty of Napa Valley on a private cycling excursion with either an 18- or 28-mile route option that will depart from Veterans Memorial Park in Yountville.
Please note that this year there will not be a barrel tasting or wine tasting at ZD Wines. We will instead have a modified rest stop featuring non-alcoholic refreshments.
Following the ride at the North Yountville Park, indulge in the all-inclusive Food & Wine Garden with live music paired with delicious food and wine from Napa Valley restaurants and wineries to round out the afternoon.
All routes are ‘rules of the road’ rides, being on open public roads, including along picturesque Highway 29 and Silverado Trail. We utilize the California Highway Patrol for awareness purposes, as well as course marshals to help keep this event safe and fun. We recommend cyclists have previous ride experience or join us for our Food & Wine Garden instead.

Tri to Inspire, formerly the DJFE Triathlon Race Series, was created to introduce the sport of triathlon to the Sonoma County community in a welcoming, inclusive way. This short-distance event is open to all abilities and is ideal for first-time triathletes and families looking to experience a fun, supportive race environment together.
Athletes may choose between two distance options. The Mini Sprint includes a 100-yard pool swim, a 3-mile bike, and a 1-mile run. The Sprint distance features a 400-yard pool swim, a 9-mile bike, and a 3.1-mile run. Tri to Inspire is a non-competitive, untimed event designed to help participants complete their first triathlon—or simply enjoy the experience without pressure. More experienced athletes are also encouraged to participate and will find a positive, community-focused atmosphere. The race begins with a pool swim at the Finley Aquatic Center, followed by a flat, family- and beginner-friendly bike and run course along the Santa Rosa Creek Trail.
Each athlete’s registration includes a custom finisher medal, swim cap, and athlete goody bag. Proceeds benefit Inspiration Sports Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting youth in Sonoma County through sports camps and fitness-based programs.
The annual running of the Napa Spring Half Marathon and 5K will be held on April 25 2027 starting and finishing at Oxbow Commons Park in the heart of the excitement that is Napa, California! The race course winds through the lush countryside past multiple wineries on the way back to the finish line in beautiful downtown Napa. #NapaSpringHalf

relay! Park Information Skyline Wilderness Park is located in Napa, California. In 1979, the land beside the State Hospital was declared to be surplus and was to be sold to a private party. A group of concerned citizens got together and enlisted the help of various members of the community and government to allow the group to use the land as a park for the Napa Valley. The idea of a park was formed, a constitution was created, incorporation papers drafted, environmental impact studies made, etc. Since there has never been a private sector leasing state land for a park system, the State leased the land to the County of Napa which then subleased it to the Skyline Park Citizens Association. Cup Free Race Information Trail Squirrel Adventures is proud to be a cupless event, reflecting our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable trail running. By requiring all participants to bring their own reusable cups or hydration systems, we aim to significantly reduce waste and preserve the natural beauty of our trails. Why Go Cupless?1. Environmental ConservationTraditional races often generate substantial waste from single-use paper or plastic cups at aid stations. For example, a race with 500 participants can use over 10,000 disposable cups in a single event.
By eliminating these, we prevent litter on trails and reduce the environmental impact of our races. 2. Trail PreservationOur races take place in pristine natural environments, and it’s our responsibility to keep them that way. Cupless racing ensures that we leave no trace, maintaining the integrity of the trails for future runners and local wildlife. 3. Promoting Sustainability in the Running CommunityThe shift towards cupless races is part of a broader movement in the ultrarunning community to adopt more sustainable practices. By participating in cupless events, runners contribute to a culture that values and protects the environment. What You Need to Know • Bring Your Own Hydration Solution: All runners must carry their own reusable cup, bottle, or hydration pack. Collapsible silicone cups are a popular choice due to their lightweight and compact design. • Aid Station Support: Our aid stations will be equipped to refill your personal hydration containers with water and electrolyte
drinks. Volunteers will assist in ensuring a quick and efficient process. • Available for Purchase: If you don’t have a reusable cup, we offer affordable, eco-friendly options for purchase during registration or on race day.Join Us in Making a DifferenceBy embracing the cupless initiative, you’re not only participating in a race but also taking a stand for environmental responsibility. Together, we can make a positive impact on our planet and set a standard for sustainable practices in the running community. Suscol Headwaters Park Suscol Headwaters Park: Napa's Newest Trail Destination Suscol Headwaters Park is a 709-acre open space preserve just south of Napa. Managed by the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District, it connects directly to Skyline Wilderness Park via the Napa Solano Ridge Trail. Opened in 2020, the park protects diverse wildlife habitats including grasslands, oak woodlands, and creekside
corridors. Over 130 native species live here—bobcats, foxes, coyotes, and even the threatened steelhead trout. Runners will experience winding trails with panoramic views stretching from Mount St. Helena to San Francisco Bay. This natural gem offers a rare, unspoiled look at Napa's backcountry. There’s no fee to access Suscol, but Skyline Park’s event entrance is $6 per vehicle. No restrooms or water stations exist in the Headwaters area—please come prepared. By running here, you’re supporting conservation and responsible recreation in one of Napa’s most important open spaces. Bay Area Ridge Trail The Bay Area Ridge Trail The Bay Area Ridge Trail is a bold, ongoing project to create a 550-mile multi-use trail around the entire San Francisco Bay. Designed for hikers, runners, mountain bikers, and equestrians, the Ridge Trail highlights the beauty of the Bay Area’s ridgelines—offering panoramic views, redwood forests, oak woodlands, and wild open hills. This project plays a critical role in conservation, recreation, and community health. It links parks and preserves, fosters partnerships among public agencies and nonprofits, and promotes active outdoor lifestyles. The Rim Rock 50M Trail Challenge will utilize segments of the Ridge Trail as it winds through Skyline Wilderness Park and into the greater Napa Open Space network. Our Founder Robert Rhodes If trail running is the ruling passion in Rob's life, it is best expressed in the company he created, BayTrailrunners. He built this
group from scratch, starting with just a few like-minded runners to staging races attended by hundreds of runners. Along the way, he controlled all aspects of the races he created. He built and managed the BayTrailrunners website and created newsletters and mailing lists to promote the runs along with print, social media content, and videos.Rob and his media side hustle, the Dirtbagger Film Syndicate, also became the first international representative of the Trails in Motion Film Tour when it was awarded the film distributorship rights for Northern California. Each year now, Rob screens a new selection of films in various venues in California and elsewhere. His screenings have grown from just one in 2014 to ten in 2019 and have included such stages as the Western States Memorial Day Weekend Training, Miwok, North Face Endurance Challenge, Hardrock, Broken Arrow Skyrace, Lake Sonoma 50, and American Trails Running Association Trail Conference. The entire registration fee (minus the $4 processing fee) goes directly to Austin’s care. After you register, the site will ask if you’d like to make an additional donation—this can simply be left at $0, meaning your total charge will be $54 for race registration.
If you’d prefer to support Austin without registering for the race, you can do so by selecting the Donate button instead of Sign Up.
