The 11th Annual Mission Hills 5K — Voted San Diego’s Best 5K!

Get ready, runners! The Mission Hills 5K returns on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., and you won’t want to miss it. Voted “San Diego’s Best 5K” by readers of San Diego Magazine, this community favorite brings families, friends, and neighbors together. Run or walk through the streets of San Diego's historic Mission Hills neighborhood!

All proceeds benefit educational programming at Grant TK-8, helping to enrich the learning experience for every student.

Registration Details

• Early bird registration ends December 31, 2025 — sign up early and save!

• Online registration closes March 18, 2026.

• Register by March 7, 2026 to guarantee your official Mission Hills 5K t-shirt!

Please note that for safety reasons, pets, roller skates, and other wheeled devices are not allowed on the 5K course. Jogging strollers and race wheelchairs / Duos are permitted.

After you cross the finish line, stick around for our Finish Line Fun Fair in Pioneer Park, featuring family activities, community booths, and post-race celebrations.
