Join us at Chollas Lake Park, a unique urban oasis in southeastern San Diego near Lemon Grove. Centered around a scenic one-mile loop trail encircling a historic reservoir built in 1901, the park blends open grassy hillsides, eucalyptus groves, shaded picnic areas, and panoramic neighborhood views. Named for the native chollas cactus, the lake later became part of the city’s park system. Its mix of runnable trails, subtle terrain features, and urban-meets-nature character makes it a fantastic venue for both beginners discovering orienteering and experienced navigators looking for a fast, tactical challenge.

Welcome to the 13th Annual Coast to Crest 10K and 5k trail race in Del Mar, Ca.
With the exception of the first quarter mile, this is a very flat, very fast course, which is considered a *SPRINT COURSE by most, and if you are a runner looking for a new PR, then look no further. Both courses feature spectacular, wide open lagoon views and a DOWN HILL finish.
If you're lucky you may even see some Osprey flying above you, as that area is a nesting place for many of these beautiful birds.
The courses are out-and-back, are well groomed and 100% dirt trail.
*All running and walking levels are welcome, the SPRINT only means the course is flat and allows runners to go faster than normal on the trail.
The 10K and 5K course serve as the final Championship Qualifier of the Sunshine Series
