Welcome to Wine Country and the 9th Annual San Pasqual Valley Trail Race. This race is as scenic as it gets in San Diego County. Regardless of which distance you choose (there are 3), runners will be treated to epic views as they race along the vineyards and orange groves of San Pasqual Valley.

The 10K is considered to be a relatively flat course, while the Half Marathon and 20 Mile options will summit Raptor Ridge, not once but TWICE, in this out and back course.

There is a chance this race will make you hate running, but fall in love at the same time. The views are definitely worth the effort and are second to none once you reach the top.

Wine at the finish line!! That's right... You read that correctly! We have partnered up with some of the local vineyards, to do a FREE wine tasting at the finish line.

This event is limited to 450 runners.

*This is the Final Championship Event for the Half Marathon category.

Join us at Chollas Lake Park, a unique urban oasis in southeastern San Diego near Lemon Grove. Centered around a scenic one-mile loop trail encircling a historic reservoir built in 1901, the park blends open grassy hillsides, eucalyptus groves, shaded picnic areas, and panoramic neighborhood views. Named for the native chollas cactus, the lake later became part of the city’s park system. Its mix of runnable trails, subtle terrain features, and urban-meets-nature character makes it a fantastic venue for both beginners discovering orienteering and experienced navigators looking for a fast, tactical challenge.
