The course is the flat and fast, paved, wide State Park path, watching and listening to the surf.! The event is in the farthest western lot- Lot 25, closest to Warner & PCH, but to enter the park use the following address: 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy.

• 6:00 am: Gates Open

• 7:00 am: Race Day Packet Pick-Up Begins (Lot 25)

• 8:00 am Half Marathon Start for those that will take more than 3 hours and 45 minutes to finish

• 8:30 am: Half Marathon Start (Must cross the starting arch by 8:05 am)

• 8:40 am: Kid’s Dash

• 9:00am: 5K/10K Mass Start (Must cross the starting arch by 9:05 am)

• 9:40am: 5K Awards Ceremony begins.

• 10:00 am 10K awards

• 10:30 announcing of overall Half marathon awards

8:30 am start for HALF MARATHON. You have until 8:35 to pass under the arch. 9:00am start for 5k/10K. You have until 9:05 am to pass under the arch. All 5k/10K must start before the lead half marathoner finishes. YOUR START TIME does not start until you cross under the arch. Fastest runners in the front, and those looking to place in their age group division. Wear your bib on the front. Make sure you run the distance on your bib or exchange it for the correct one of your choice at the Solutions/Late registration table if you decide to change races.

There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5 year age spans: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and 85 & over.

Course

Flat and fast, or slow and easy, make it the pace you want it. This 5K/10K course runs along the beach bike path at Bolsa Chica, Huntington Beach State Beach. Families can bring strollers but agree to use at their own risk. Half Marathon Course: Flat, fast, perfect for PRs or training for your next marathon. It is (2)Two loops of the 10k so you get plenty of aid stations, entertainment, and spectator friendly!! Aid Station Every 1.5 Miles

FLAT!!! Great for first-time Half Marathoners or those wanting to PR!

Half Marathon Spectators - you can be at the finish line to see runners start then walk about 50 ft towards the runners to see them go on their second loop.

Restrooms:

Restrooms on RACE DAY: are located at each end of the parking lot. A set by Sea Legs (east) and a set near Warner Blvd on the west end of the parking lot.

Option 2: Race Day Pick-Up

• If you can't make it Thursday, don't worry! You can pick up your bib and shirt on race morning starting at 6:30 AM in LOT 25. (State Park gates open at 6:00 AM).

🚗 High Traffic Alert & Parking Info

Please Plan Ahead: The State Park entrance gate no longer accepts cash. Have a credit card handy, or quickly waive a parking pass. We are working to get them to provide hourly parking and NO GATE FEE for races, but that is not in the works for approval until possibly 2027.

• Arrive Early: We kindly ask that you plan to arrive early to ensure you are parked and ready.

• Carpooling: We highly encourage carpooling! It saves you money and helps everyone get into the park faster.

• Entrance Fee: The State Park charges $15 per car. Please have a credit card or your State Parking Pass ready to keep the line moving.

• Free Parking Option: Free LIMITED parking is available in Sunset Beach for those willing to arrive extra early and walk into the park. (No car entrance at the far corner of Lot 25; use the Main Gate in the mid-section).

• Finisher Medals: Collect your medal at the designated table under the finish arch (Left for Half, Middle for 10K, Right for 5K).

• Family & Pet Friendly: Strollers are welcome! Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash with responsible clean-up.

Run for a Cause: Proceeds support the Ware in the World Foundation, providing medical supplies and schooling in Nepal and supporting Miss Pam’s Ranch for troubled youth, working with local food banks.
