6 events in Fresno, California

The goal of our events is to get people outside, moving and having fun. Running, Math and Pie enthusiasts come together at the Pi Day Run featuring run/walk distances of 2Mi, Pi (3.14) Miles, and 2Pi (6.28) Miles. We invite Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math students or clubs to have a booth/display to be voted on by the participants. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place booths as voted for by our participants. Proceeds benefit a scholarship fund at CSU Fresno for STEM Majors.

Join us for the 10th annual Fresno St Patrick's Day Run! Whether you run or walk the Shamrock 4 Miler or our GREEN Leprechaun 2 Miler you'll have a great time! And both will have age group awards..... GREEN Medallions, GREEN Event Shirt, GREEN goodies and GREEN Beer (21+)!!

Join us for our 12th Annual Campus Life Frozen 5k + Kids' Fun Run on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Woodward Park. This event is for the whole family to enjoy! For those who want or need, we are still offering a virtual race option. There will be BREAKFAST, COLD BREW from Lanna Coffee, and ACAI BOWLS from TOWER BLENDZ! If this is the only reason you show up, we understand!

This FROZEN 5k benefits Fresno/Madera Youth For Christ and the mentoring work it does with over a thousand students each year.

Packet Pickup Details

Packet pickup will take place at the Campus Life Center on Friday, May 8th from 3-6pm. Park in the parking lot and enter into the main house where you will receive your shirt, bib, and SWAG! You may also pick up your packet before the race at Woodward Park.

Please note that it costs $5 to park if you would like to park on Woodward Park's property. You can pay at one of the many kiosks located around the park.

The Shinzen Run started over 35 years ago under the direction of Ken Takeuchi and has supported the Shinzen Garden.

Proceeds will benefit the Shinzen Garden in memory of Ken Takeuchi.

Participants will receive:

• Finisher Medal

• T-Shirt

• Pancake Breakfast

• Free entry the Shinzen Garden

• Age Group awards: 6-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60-69, 70 & up.

• Small Bonzai plant kit for 1st Place male/female in each age group in the 5k and 10 mile

• Virtual Run option available (no age group awards)

The Juneteenth Freedom 5K/5 Mile Run is an event that goes beyond just a race. Juneteenth commemorates the day when 250,000 slaves in Texas, which became the last bastion for slavery during the final days of the Civil War, were declared free.

All participants in the live and virtual race will receive a tech shirt and medal. The live 5K/5 Mile race will have placement awards.

NEW THIS YEAR: Kids' age group awards and cash prizes for breaking the course record for the 5K and 5 mile races.

The 5 Mile race is a 20-point race in the Central Valley Runner of the Year series.
