3 running, walking, and fun run events in Chino, California

Come out and join us at the annual “Run For Russ” 5K Run and Community Walk on Saturday, February 7, 2026. This event serves as a tribute to honor the memory of fallen Chino Police Officer Russ Miller who was killed in the line of duty by a drunk driver on February 1, 2000. We expect over 1,000 attendees this year and would like to invite you, your family and friends to show their support by participating in this great community event. All proceeds from the event go toward the Chino Police Officers Foundation which provides assistance to youth, individuals, and organizations within the city of Chino that are in need of financial assistance. Registration includes event t-shirt, water, snacks and a pancake breakfast provided by the Chino Kiwanis Club.

Our 16th Annual DairyAire 5k is the last leg of the Chino Triple Crown! Flat and fast course around Ayala Park. Price includes shirt and finisher medal for all participants. Come and have a fun and healthy morning, all proceeds benefiting the Chino Youth Museum.

PLEASE READ: The 5K run/walk starts at 8:15 a.m. You are welcome to run with your friends or family. Results will be posted as soon as you finish. The Kids' Run will precede the 5K at 8:00 a.m.

• Flat and fast course at Ayala Park in Chino - 5575 Edison Ave., Chino, Ca 91710

• The 5K is the last leg of the Chino Triple Crown - Triple Crown medals will be given out after the DairyAire 5K - FINISH the 2025 Reindeer Romp, the 2026 Run for Russ and the 2026 DairyAire 5k for your special medal!

• All entrants in the 5k will receive an official event shirt and finisher medal.

• Groups of 5 or more will receive a $5.00 discount per runner, paper applications only. (Please email us for an application)

• Kids' Run is 1/2 mile long and every kid will receive a medal and shirt

Kids Fun Run Entry fee is $25 October 25 - March 2, $30 March 3 - March 7.

Packet pickup and late registration will be Friday, March 6, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the park operations center, 5575 Edison Ave. Also Saturday morning before the race STARTING AT 7:00 a.m.
