This will be the 47th Run Through the Pines
Save the date and please follow us on our Run Through the Pines Facebook and Instagram page.
The Run Through the Pines is a destination run and a San Bernardino, Rim Mountain Community Event. It is one of the longest "running" runs in Southern California (the first one was in 1979). It features a 10K and 5K run (or walk) around Lake Gregory and through a pine tree forest. Runners (and walkers) can enjoy a semi-paved course at a 4,720-foot elevation, which makes it a perfect little challenge for mountain locals and especially our friends from down the hill. Race day staging is at the San Moritz Lodge βMeadowβ area near the Lake Gregory Company bait and tackle shop. We encourage participants of all levels, children in strollers, pets on a leash, and especially teams/groups.
Lake Gregory is located in Crestline, a charming little town filled with one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants. We encourage all runners to stay the weekend and enjoy the town.

Parking Information
π Please arrive early. Parking at the Dam Area is limited and fills quickly.
If the Dam parking lot reaches capacity, participants must park in the designated overflow parking areas within Lake Perris State Recreation Area.
β οΈ Do NOT park along the roadside or in unauthorized areas. California State Park Rangers actively patrol the area and may issue parking citations or arrange for vehicles to be towed.
πΆ Overflow parking is approximately a 0.5-mile walk to the race start/finish area.
We strongly recommend arriving early to allow sufficient time for parking, packet pick-up, and warm-up before your race.
Thank you for helping us keep the event safe and enjoyable for all participants.
parkrun is such a simple concept: turn up every Saturday and volunteer, walk, jog or run 5k.
