Get ready for the BCSD Pajama Run 5K. Slip into your favorite pajamas and join us for a fun-filled event to support BCSD students and educators.

Proceeds from the BCSD Pajama Run will go toward:

• Camperships: Giving BCSD students the opportunity to attend Camp KEEP, an unforgettable outdoor education experience.

• Teacher Grants: Funding programs that support student achievement, technology, chess, mini-grants, and reading incentives.

Reyes Running events present this very unique event, BURRITO FUN RUN! Participants get to choose the distance they want to participate in 12K, 5k or 2 MILE WALK!...and YES, course will take participants to the famous BURRITO HILL at Yokuts Park AND there will also be some delicious BURRITOS for all participants at the finish line! 12K is perfect for anyone getting ready for a Spring half marathon/marathon! For sure you don't want to miss this friendly, family running event!

Kern County Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association 12th Annual Honor Run

Proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the Kern County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association and will be used to assist the families of our fallen deputies by providing scholarships for the children left behind. In addition, a portion of the money raised will be used to support the Sheriff's Activities League (SAL) supervised youth activities and programs throughout the county.

Race Day registration for 5K and 10K begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m.

5K and 10K runs will start at 8:15 a.m. Race Day Registration will be $50*

Kids 1K race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m.

Kids 1K run will start at 8:00 a.m. Race Day Registration will be $10*

*does not include online processing fees

Online registration will close at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026. (Shirt size guaranteed if registered prior to February 5, 2026)

The race will begin at Section 2 of Hart Park with parking located around the park and near the site of the run.

This year, there will be a pre-race packet pick-up that will occur on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kern County Regional Training Center. The Regional Training Center is located at 962 Norris Road, Bakersfield, 93308.

After the race - medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division and a runners raffle!

We look forward to seeing you and thank you for supporting this great cause!

Participants in the event are also welcome to walk the race route. Strollers are welcome. Runners who want to bring their leashed dogs for the run are welcome to do so. There will be water bowls at the turnaround points for your canine buddies!!!

Sunday, March 8th is WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION! Join us at this family, friendly, fun event to celebrate "Dia de la Mujer" or Women's Day month. Theme of our event is "She runs the World" because yes, women in running has dramatically increased over the years. We encourage not only women, but all participants to be proud of who you are and keep doing what you love! Event takes place at Yokuts Park in Bakersfield!

MEN ARE TOTALLY ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE! We’ll have male age group divisions for awards as well!

Online registration closes on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:59pm. If you would like to come out to the event as a cancer survivor or general visitor, please feel free to do so...there is no charge. The opening ceremony and survivor ceremony is at 9am on Saturday, March 15th. Competitions are to follow. Cornhole competition opportunities are available onsite for $20 per person.

This exciting competition brings local businesses, service organization and families of all sizes together for a variety of fun and entertaining activities. It's a great opportunity to promote teamwork and a sense of pride. All proceeds benefit the Kern County Cancer Foundation.

Teams will compete in a variety of fun and low-skill activities all while vying for the most accumulated points and ultimately, ownership of the "Ultimate Cancer Fighters" Team Cup. Likely competitions include: Connect 4, Giant Pong, Hoppin' World Cup, Obstacle Course Relay, Bigfoot, and Around the World.

This one-day competition will take place at Liberty Park 11225 Brimhall Rd. 93312 in Bakersfield on Saturday, March 15th 9am-2pm with awards and raffle to follow.

Each team consists of 10 members. A group can enter more than one team if space allows. If your company/club/family has paid for your team, please see your team leader for your registration code to waive your individual fee.

Easter is coming up! Reyes Running Series is proudly presenting the 1st Annual Easter Fun Run 5k AND 2 MILE SPEED WALK! We provide participants with a choice of running the 5K or 2 mile walk! Great family, friendly, fun event for the whole family! Event will take place at YOKUTS PARK IN BAKERSFIELD, where all runners will have the opportunity to participate in the EGG HUNTING activity where 10 of those eggs will have a FREE ENTRY for any of our future events!! This activity will be done after the “fun” part, running part of the event! We’ll have different categories for the egg hunting all women, male and several categories for the kids….and all of course as all our Reyes Running events, all participants get TACOS and aguas frescas!

We are excited to announce Autism on the Run. On April 11th, 2026 at the Park at Riverwalk in Bakersfield, California. We will have a 10k, 5k, 2k, and family walk.

Pricing is $45 a person for 10k, 5k, 2k and includes a shirt and medal

April is Autism Awareness Month. Autism refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication.

This event benefits H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection Family Empowerment Center whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for people with special needs through a family-directed resource center that symbolizes professionalism, dignity, compassion, and respect. “Running for Faith to Build our Future” is a Fun Run 5k hosted by the MOMS at SEAS ministry of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church benefiting the church’s Building Fund. Enjoy an 8am 5K run start time leaving from the church, followed by a pancake breakfast hosted by the Knights of Columbus and LMF on the church’s back patio. **Bringing it back: Raffle baskets during breakfast!

April 18th will be a day to involve the whole family in supporting the future of our church! Let's get our church built!

**A pancake breakfast can also be purchased separately at Masses, or on the day of the event.

All adult participants registered by March 16, 2026 will be guaranteed an Event T-shirt. Remember all proceeds go to the Building Fund!

Ride the River is a fun community bike ride for people of all ages. With distances of 20, 10, and 5 miles there is an event for every ability level.

Flat tires? Squeaky brakes? Bike Bakersfield will be on hand to fix up your jalopy!

Parking for the event will be in the Finish Line parking lot with overflow parking available at CSUB parking lot J.

There will be music, vendors, and food. All proceeds benefit Bring Back the Kern.

Join this family-friendly 5K and run through Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary’s annual Thousand Flags Memorial Day weekend display. This awe-inspiring annual event showcases over 1,000 American flags on display at The Park at River Walk to honor those we have lost. There will be a 5K course and a one-mile memorial walk. The 5K course winds its way through the scenic flag adorned park and down the multi-use trail adjacent to the park, and is suitable for both runners and walkers. Proceeds will support the Thousand Flags event and other Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary community projects. The events will be timed and awards will be given for the top three 5K finishers in each category. Register by May 3rd, 2026 to ensure you receive a Thousand Flags T-shirt. All veterans participating in the event will be recognized with a complimentary Thousand Flags pin.
