Trifest for MS
September 4th, 5th and 6th, 2026
The Trifest for MS triathlon, established in 2011 is the largest triathlon in United States raising money for mutliple sclerosis, drawing people from all over the country to support multiple sclerosis research and clinical care. This year we are inviting all alumni, sponsors, racers, encouragers and spectators back to where it all began in 2011, celebrating our 15th year of delivering MS research and clinical care in AR and and beyond. Come back to where it all begin and celebrate with us!
Historically the Trifest for MS event has funded MS research at UAMS in Little Rock, AR, UCSF in San Francisco, CA and NWU in Chicago. This year the Rampy MS Research Foundation is pivoting short-term to support critical MS care in NWA.
Arkansas has approximately 4,500 people living with MS. The UAMS MS program in Little Rock currently serves around 2,500 of those patients statewide, and about 1,000 of them live in Northwest Arkansas. Right now, there are four MS specialists in the entire state. That number will soon drop to three!
Rampy MS Research Foundation is leading a collaboration with UAMS, Community Clinic, Northwest Health, and the University of Arkansas to develop an MS care clinic model that curates existing clinical space in NWA to deliver specialty neurology, imaging, infusions, and coordinated support closer to home. Our goal is to reduce wait times, improve access, and keep care local for at least 1,000 MS patients in Northwest Arkansas.
“This illness is progressive,” Jo Rampy said. “We can get lost in that progressiveness. But we don’t. We take our energy and our time, and we place it into a cause that can help others.” The MS care clinic will serve 1,000 MS patients in Northwest Arkansas that are seeking home close to home.
*The events in 2026 will not be USA Triathlon Sanctioned due to the participant one day fee increasing to $21. Instead there is a $7 race insurance charge ($5 for youth triathlon) added during checkout.
Trifest for MS features a para triathlete division in all the youth events, and the super sprint distances. Simply register for your race distance and choose the option during registration that you are a para athlete.
