Sparkman Indoor Percussion is hosting their 2nd annual 5k walk/run to help raise money in support of their 2026 season. Through this event, Sparkman Indoor hopes to bring the community together to support their efforts to bring an awesome show to World Championships while showcasing what they do so well. There will be a special performance at the conclusion of the race!

We are proud to announce the GURLEY LIONS CHALLENGE 5K Run. We need the support of the community to make this event a success. Your support is crucial to that effort. The proceeds of the race support the local programs of the Gurley Lions Club charities which include eye exams and glasses, HEALS Clinic, CASA, Gurley Police Department, prescription drug assistance, Gurley Public Library, and college scholarships, and much more...

Returning for the 6th year is the Salmon Run 5K!

Join us in honoring the memory of Paul "Fish" Salmon, a beloved brother and leader in the Theta Pi chapter of ATO at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Paul was diagnosed with leukemia in 2006 and underwent treatment at the Clearview Cancer Institute (CCI). All proceeds from the race and the accompanying wing festival will directly benefit Russell Hill Cancer Foundation and HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. Thank you for your support. Look out! We have a race location change this year. For 2026, the Salmon Run 5K will now be located on campus at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH)! The race will also be taking place a WEEK BEFORE Battle of the Buffalo. Thank you for your attention!
