    Join us on March 7, 2026, for an exciting day filled with fun, community spirit, and support for Rosinton Elementary School! The Armadillo Dash 5K Run/Walk, Fun Run, and Festival is approaching, and we need YOU to make it a success! Together, let’s create a brighter future for our students and community!

    5K Run: Top 3 Male and top 3 Female Overall finishers and top 3 Male and top 3 Female finishers in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

    5K Walk: Top 3 Male and top 3 Female Overall finishers

    Fun Run: Top 3 Overall (coed) and top 3 in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

    This super fun event returns to kick off the St. Benedict Catholic School's German Festival!

    The One Mile Fun Run/Walk will kick off at 8:00 AM.

    The 5K Raven Run/Walk begins at 8:30 AM.

    Both races begin at St. Benedict Catholic School, 12786 Illinois Street Elberta, AL 36530, and are a 1 mile and 3.1 mile "out and back" course. Water is supplied on the course at the turn around point.

    Delicious German sausage, beer, and great prizes await participants at the post party! So don your lederhosen or dirndl, come fill your stein and join us at the Raven Run! Prost y’all!

    WHY RACE?

    All Runners/walkers receive:

    • Free Finisher Medal at race end

    • Free Wetzel Pretzel ticket

    • Free Drink ticket (Gatorade, Soda, Beer/Wine; must be 21+ to redeem ticket for alcoholic beverages)

    • You get to run / walk with your friends!

    • You will be supporting St. Benedict School!

    • It's a super fun race!

    *German Fest T-shirts will be available for purchase at the race.

    PRICING:

    • Early bird $15 Fun Run, $20 Student 5k, $25 Adult 5k - until 4/18/2026

    • Regular, all prices increase $5 - until 4/24/2026

    • Day of Race, all prices increase another $5 - 4/25/2026

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

    • Can I walk the race? YES but we have a 30 minute time limit on the Fun Run and a 1:30 hour time limit on the 5k.

    • Do I have to dress up? NO but it is way cooler and the photos will be amazing. Be creative!

    • Does everyone get a medal? YES - it is a collector's item! Finish the race and it's yours!

    • Packet Pickup Location - St. Benedict School - Friday, April 24- 3:15-5:30PM

    • Can I register the morning of the race? YES - but arrive at 7am if you plan to register race-day morning. Registration closes at 7:30AM firm.

    After the race join us for the race awards ceremony at 9:30am followed by a full day of fun at the 53rd Annual St. Benedict Catholic School German Festival on Saturday, April 25th in Elberta, Alabama!

    Stroll the aisles of artists and crafters, bouncy houses, balloons & more for the kids or sit down, relax, and enjoy the live entertainment. Be sure to come hungry for the delicious German food!

    The raffle begins at 5pm....be sure you purchase a ticket in advance for your chance to win $10,000 CASH....only a limited amount of tickets will be sold!

    Runners, walkers, and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to take part in the Magnolia Run, presented by Baldwin County Sewer Service, on Saturday, November 7 , 2026, in the charming town of Magnolia Springs, Alabama! This annual event features a 5K Run, 5K Walk, and a 1 Mile Fun Run, welcoming around 300 participants to experience a scenic route lined with majestic oak canopies, blooming azaleas, and historic homes. The event is both stroller and dog friendly, making it perfect for families and pet lovers. A portion of each registration benefits The Sea Glass Initiative, supporting local community causes.

    Awards for the 5K Run are presented 3 deep in each age group (Male & Female; 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+) as well as to top finishers for Male & Female Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters & Wheelchair.

    Awards for the 5K Walk are presented 3 deep in each age group (Male & Female; 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).

    Awards for the 1 Mile Fun Run are presented 3 deep in each age group (Male & Female; 0-44, 45+) Each participant of the fun run will receive a participation medal.

    After the race, enjoy lively music and mouthwatering food provided by Jesse’s Restaurant. The race starts and ends at Jesse’s, located at 14770 Oak Street, with the awards ceremony held inside the Magnolia Springs Community Hall.

    This USATF-certified course (certificate AL19018JE) ensures a top-notch racing experience.

    Packet pick-up will be held on Saturday, October 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce in Foley, or on race day from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the Magnolia Springs Community Hall.
