    The Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta at Auburn University will host its 33rd Annual Shamrock 5k Run to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and to locally support Integrea's Early Connections Program. Kappa Delta will host its 5k run on Saturday, February 7th, 2026. The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both collegian and alumnae support, to raise money for the national and local child abuse prevention organizations.

    Student Registration:

    Registration fee = $15

    Regular registration:

    Registration fee = $35

    All participants who register by January 23rd will receive a complimentary runners T-shirt

    T-shirts will be available at packet pickup on Friday, February 6 or at Race Day Check in on Saturday, February 7th.

    *Online race registration closes February 2nd, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

    Race Day Registration:

    You can register in person on race day!!! Registration will be $60 the day of.

    Race Location and Race Day Instructions:

    Beginning and ending at Cater Lawn on Auburn's Campus, the Shamrock run will be held on February 7th, 2026. The race will begin promptly at 8 am. Please arrive between 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 to ensure an on-time race start. Age group awards will occur prior to everyone crossing the finish line.

    Race Packet Pick Up:

    *PR Shirt orders can be picked up at our chapter room during packet pick up, or shipped individually to your home

    *Runner T-Shirts will all be given at Packet Pick Up, and will not be individually shipped: Packet pick up will include your Runner Shirt (if applicable), and your bib for race day

    Packet pick-up – Friday, February 6th | 2 – 6 p.m.

    Location: Leischuck Hall, The Village | Kappa Delta Chapter Room

    Race day Packet Pick Up – Saturday, February 7th | 6:30-7:30 a.m.

    Location: Cater Lawn (AU Campus)

    Awards:

    Awards will be presented to the first-place male and female finishers in the following age groups:

    14 & under

    15-19

    20-29

    30-39

    40-49

    50-59

    60 and up!

    There will also be an award for the First Place Male and Female overall.

Athletes and fans can choose from either a half marathon (13.1 miles) or 5k (3.1 miles) to test their mettle while touring the campus like no other Auburn fan. There will also be a 1 mile run for the Little Tigers presented by Allen Turner Automotive.     The Epsilon Zeta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at Auburn University is hosting the 5k for DVA Race for the promotion of awareness, education and prevention of domestic violence. AXΩ is happy to share an event full of community spirit, integrity and fun that students of Auburn and members of the local community can participate in and look forward to. 100% of proceeds from the event will be donated to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation and the Domestic Violence Intervention Center of Opelika. The AXΩ 5k for DVA will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21st, 2026. The race will begin promptly at 8:30. Runners will race through the beautiful campus of Auburn University. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners in the male and female categories. Race packets will be provided to all participants and include race bib and event T-shirt for each participant. Any materials that sponsors wish to provide, such as promotional material, coupons, etc. will be included in the race packets as

    well. Bib and T-shirt pick up will take place in the Alpha Chi Omega chapter room located in Oak Hall on Friday March 20th. Please note that event t-shirts and race packets are not guaranteed after February 26th, but registration will remain open until March 17th.

    The Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi will be hosting its annual Sarah Anderson Live.Laugh.Run. 5K on March 28, 2025. Kappa Kappa Psi is a national honorary fraternity dedicated to serving college and university bands across the country.

    In November of 2009, Sarah Anderson lost her life in a tragic car accident. Sarah was a sophomore studying to go to veterinarian school at Auburn University, a piccolo player in the Auburn University Marching Band (AUMB), and a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi.

    In honor of her memory, the Pi chapter will be using all proceeds to fund the Sarah Anderson Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship that is granted to a deserving band member at the end of each fall semester. The recipient will be someone who best exhibits the qualities of our fraternity and who shares the same positive attitude and love for life that Sarah Anderson had.

    Registration is $30 for the general public and $25 for ALL current students and AUMB alumni. Registration will increase by $5 starting March 1, but you must register by February 28st to be guaranteed a shirt. Refreshments will be given out after the race. Prizes will be given by gender.

    Registration will open at 9:15am with group stretches being led at 10am. The race will begin at 10:30am.
