The venue opens one hour before our first batch. We advise that you arrive 45 minutes before your start time, so you have plenty of time to go through registration before we call you to the start pen for warm up 5 minutes before you start on your selected batch time.
Spectators are welcome for FREE, please note kids must be accompanied by an adult/legal guardian. There will be an event village where they can cheer you and your kids on at the start and finish line.
We have a Bag Drop ($5 on the day) where you can leave your stuff until you have completed the course.
A minimum of 1 Adult and 1 Kid need to register. A maximum of 4 Kids can register per 1 Adult. Additional Adult and Kid tickets can be purchased separately.
The minimum age for a Kids entry is 5 years young – but please, parents/legal guardians, kids (up to 13 years old) must be accompanied by a registered, participating adult. Event waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian of all Kids under the age of 18. No waiver, no run, no exceptions.

Join us for the Springdale 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, September 12th, 2026! This race starts at 8am on the grounds of the Historic Springdale Race Course and the National Steeplechase Museum! Finish strong at the gates of the Carolina and Colonial Cup! Runners and Walkers are welcome! Race proceeds benefit the Mobile Nutrition Center, a mobile food pantry that delivers healthy foods to sites located in rural Kershaw County, SC. The MNC directly serves clients by removing barriers that prevent access to food like transportation and income. Through community partnerships, MNC delivers farm fresh, store-bought and even rescued food and grocery products like vegetables, meats, whole pastas and rice, and baked goods to food insecure people.Health and Homeless initiatives in Kershaw county are operated by the United Way of Kershaw County!
This certified and officially timed race starts at 8am. The course will have one water stop and lots of friendly volunteers to guide and cheer you on the the finish line! This 4 mile course will be a challenging off-road route with more than 30 obstacles, a stream crossing, hills and of course MUD! Old clothes and shoes or boots are recommended (hint: pockets will fill up and pants without draw strings will come off). Bringing a change of clothes is highly advised.
The competitive categories are reserved for athletes legitimately in it to win it that can run the entire course and complete every obstacle.
You will be registering individually. If you want to run with friends, make sure to gather and race at the same time.
Every runner will be timed using electronic timing.
Must be 13 years of age or older to enter. However, we can waive this requirement with parent /guardian approval.

Volunteers Needed!!
We will need volunteers to help with many aspects of the event from lining up cars in the parking lot to passing out water on the course. All vehicle occupants over age 16 must show valid picture ID at Fort Gordon gates.
To ensure a timely arrival at the event, please allow at least 30 minutes to enter Fort Gordon gates due to security procedures.

SWIM:
The swim is a 250 yard pool swim in the Carnes Crossroads pool. Participants start at one side of the pool and snake their way up and down each lane as they work towards the other side of the pool. You will be provided with a swim cap if you choose to wear it.
BIKE:
The bike course is a three loop 8 mile course. The course is flat and takes place within the beautiful Carnes Crossroads neighborhood. The roads are open to traffic – but traffic is usually fairly light.
RUN:

Don't miss Charlotte's premiere open water swim event!
2 Mile and 1 Mile option, plus an 800-yard fun swim for beginners
This is an easy-to-navigate out-and-back course on the Catawba River in Mt. Holly, NC (just outside Charlotte) starting and ending at Dutchman's Creek Landing.
This is the culmination of the three-event Charlotte Open Water Swim Series. For beginners, or those just wanting a leisurely swim at this scenic riverside setting, we also have an 800-yard fun swim.
Safety is top priority, and we will have kayakers and monitors across the course. Food, beverages and good times afterward!
