Porto, Porto, PortugalCães D' Avenida is one of Porto's original running crews, and it’s still one of the most loved. It started out as a group of friends running together in 2011, and by 2013, it became an official sports association. Friendship, helping each other, and a real passion for running are at the heart of everything they do. The name, which means "Dogs of the Avenue" in Portuguese, began as a joke but now stands for a close-knit group of local runners, most between 30 and 60 years old. They’re known for their open monthly training runs and for organizing the Corrida Pidas, a 10k race that brings the whole city together in memory of their founder.
