Hataw, Takbo Bataan has become the flagship fitness and wellness activity of Bataan, symbolic of the government’s advocacy in instilling the importance of
engaging in regular physical exercises as a way to stay healthy. This event also aims to raise awareness regarding the Tobacco-Free Generation campaign that targets the youth (born 2000 onwards) while it promotes breaking away from smoking and other tobacco-related vices.
Through Hataw Takbo Bataan, the government has spurned initiatives towards adapting a healthy lifestyle from among its people, one of the key factors that helps establish productive, empowered and stable families under the 1Bataan vision.
