Course overview: Tucked alongside the Hutt River and winding its way through the heart of Upper Hutt, this trail offers a beautiful mix of riverside serenity and lush greenery. The course follows the river’s edge, weaving past native bush, open parkland, and peaceful swimming spots, with the crystal-clear water never far from view. Keep an eye out for local birdlife as you cross small bridges and enjoy the changing scenery, from shaded forested sections to wide open spaces framed by the surrounding hills.
