  Apista Events and the Awa Backyard Ultra are bringing the exciting format of backyard ultra distance running to Whanganui. A new 6.7km lap on the hour every hour until there is one runner left. The ultimate test of physical and mental endurance.

  Not quite ready for the Ultra but still keen to have a go. The Backyard 6 offers up the same format of a new 6.7km lap on the hour, but finishes after 6 hours. A great taster of what the Backyard format of ultra distance running is all about.
