What Is Run Australia Run?
Run Australia Run is a range of Virtual Runs held throughout the year. Many of the Virtual running events will be held on Specific Days of the year, others will be ongoing runs over a period of time or kilometers.
The aim is to have as many people as possible throughout Australia out running and walking for the benefit of their health and their hearts. This fits perfectly with our chosen Charity of Heart Kids.
Specific Runs:
Anzac Day 5km 2026
We have ongoing runs to keep you motivated with Run Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Tasmania, Canberra and ultimately Running across Australia. There is no time limit for these. Take as long as you want. The goal is to run across Australia. When you have run across a state like Queensland - 2027km or Victoria - 949km, you can receive the Run Queensland or Victoria Medal. Combine these runs within the States to make up the distances and then combine the States to Run across Australia and receive the Run Australia Medal.
We have ongoing runs to keep you motivated on your way to the big goal of Run Australia, with Specific Run Australia Run runs every 3-4 weeks. The kms for your Specific 5km events can count to the kms for a Main Run also. Some of our ongoing Runs are Run The Great Ocean Road, Run Sydney Harbour, Run Kangaroo Island, Run the Kati Thanda Pink Lake and Run Canberra. Check out the Runs TAB to see the full list. We will be adding runs to keep everyone motivated.
The Entry Fee to all runs is FREE unless we have a specific fundraiser happening. You have the choice of purchasing a medal as memerobilia of doing the run.
Make sure you Register:
You have to register for the runs, complete it on, or within the specific period and then send in your results. We'll publish the results so you can see how you compare with other runners and walkers throughout the country. Entries to some runs will be limited so don't delay your entries.
We will have a platform for you to record your distances and times you've run. You can record your kms as you go along or add them once a week etc - entirely up to you. Once you've uploaded the results we will forward your medal and/or t-shirt and add you to the results.
