The Christchurch Motorway Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, 1 March 2026, starting and finishing at Canterbury A&P Park.

Enjoy a fast, focused outing on the Christchurch Southern Motorway pathways with no vehicles on the course. The motorway hums beside you while you move in peace.

This event welcomes everyone—from first timers to elites. The fast, flat course is built for personal bests across the Half Marathon, 10km, and 5km.

You can run, walk, or hybrid, run a bit and walk a bit. There is a walking section in all three distances, and the Kidz Dash is a 2km run for young runners.

• The start times are as follows:

• Wave 1 - 8:30am - All Walkers and Hybrid Participants

• Wave 2 - 9:00am - All Runners

• Wave 3 - 9:05am - The Kidz Dash 2km

Muddy Good Run

Canterbury A & P Show Grounds

Sunday 22nd March 2026

All Finishers receive a Finishers Medal.

We will be building mud pits, slippery slides, mud and water slides, cars to climb over, cars to crawl under, containers to scale, hay bales to get over, camo net crawls, cargo net climbs and a run and crawl in between.

There is something for everyone whether you are 4 years of age or 104-years of age .

There will be plenty of Mud for everyone, Adults events have bigger obstacles. The family section is for families, 1 Adult must take part and the minimum age will be 4-years old, although we'd prefer 4-6 year olds do the Junior KIDZ Mud Run, as this distance may be too much for the wee ones. This event will not be timed, it is for fun.
