Join us for the 2nd Annual "Faster Pastor Jeff's Run for St. Jude," a fun and family-friendly Fun Mile walk/run, 5K race, and 10K race that are open to all runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. This is going to be a fun event for everyone, and it is for a great cause that Bro. Jeff loves so much! All funds raised will be for the lifesaving mission of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Whether you are racing for a personal best or walking in memory or in honor of a loved one, every step you take helps ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for their child's treatment, travel, housing, or food—because all a family should worry about is the love and care their child receives while being treated at St. Jude.
This special event will take place in Bro. Jeff's hometown of Start, LA. The 5K and 10K starting line will be at the Start Baptist Church parking lot and continue onto Charleston Drive and then onto Webb Hill Road, with a turn back to the finish line in the church parking lot (an out and back course). All participants of the Fun Mile walk/run and 5K and 10K races will receive a finisher's medal. 5K and 10K finishers will receive medals for overall male champion and female champion, and then age divisions for both male and female, as follows: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up.
Online registration will close on Thursday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM. ARE YOU READY FOR MARCH 13, 2027? WE ARE!
2027 is our 10th year for ENDURE THE DIRT. We are busy planning and are excited to bring you our ideas, but before then you can go ahead and sign up for any of our races.
Beginners to elite athletes are welcome to participate in the 10th ENDURE THE DIRT adventure race that's mission is to raise money to motivate, encourage, and educate cancer patients and their caregivers.
You can decide to run VIRTUAL or join us to ENDURE THE DIRT and get DIRTY!
We have so many options for you to participate.
There are several options that we know will fit your needs and level of fun.
ENDURE THE DIRT- COMPETITIVE (a timed event with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for male and female)
ENDURE THE DIRT- TEAM (run as a team and help each other through the course)
ENDURE THE DIRT- FUN RUN (just gather your friends and run for fun)
ENDURE THE DIRT is a 5K mud run that consists of obstacles that are engineered to test your strength and tackle your fears. Located on the flat land of Stuttgart surrounding Mack’s Prairie Wings, this course is designed for a healthy individual to understand what a cancer patient endures daily. Fellow participants will be there to give you a boost and help you conquer each task, just as the cancer patient has their caregivers to help them tackle cancer.
POUNDING THE PAVEMENT COLOR RUN
POUNDING THE PAVEMENT COLOR RUN If you don't want to get dirty you can participate our Pounding the Pavement Color Run. It is a 5K color run that is so much fun.
MINI MUDDER
Bring your little people and let them get dirty for cancer too. This is a smaller course right at the finish line that has obstacles adapted for ages 4-9. Must have a guardian present.
SLEEP IN/ NOW WE SPRINT VIRTUAL OPTION
The NOW WE SPRINT VIRTUAL 50 MILE OR MORE RUN begins January 1st, 2027.
Why in January? Because of the weather. Cancer patients have to deal with extreme circumstances just like you may have to deal with extreme weather. We want you to be uncomfortable, just like cancer patients are uncomfortable every day while battling the dreaded disease.
The Virtual race is also a great way to get ready for Endure the Dirt. Enter your miles by March 11, 2027.
We hope that you take a look venture to Stuttgart and see what all we have going on down in southeast Arkansas. It is something you don't want to miss.
CANCER GETS DIRTY, BUT WE DO TOO!
