The Maga Circe Marathon is organized by In Corsa Libera under FIDAL supervision and appears on both the FIDAL national calendar (Bronze stage) and the World Athletics Global Calendar. The race connects San Felice Circeo and Sabaudia, two coastal towns south of Rome, with the 42 km marathon starting at the harbor of San Felice Circeo and finishing in Sabaudia’s main square. The paved route has 180 m of elevation gain and follows the Tyrrhenian coast past three protected dune areas. A 28 km option branches at km 18 through the Circeo National Park forest, with 15% gravel terrain, while shorter competitive and recreational races start and end in Sabaudia. April’s mild temperatures (14–18°C) and regular aid stations serving local buffalo mozzarella add regional character to the event.
