Corsa (running) events in Rimini, Emilia-Romagna

Five friends stood on the Adriatic coast in May 2024 with a conviction: movement belongs outside the clubs and bars, in the early-morning air and on the road before anyone else wakes up. Mattia and Pietro Leardini, Francesco, LucaFrancesco, and Jacopo built Ola Movement on three pillars, Sociality, Sport, and Outdoor, turning a WhatsApp thread into one of Italy's most talked-about new running crews. The name carries its own metaphor: ola means the ocean wave, the rolling energy that passes from one person to the next, and that is exactly what happened. Within months, around 250 runners of all levels had joined, transforming Rimini into a city where Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings belong to the crew. Every run offers three distances (6km, 8km, 10km), ensuring no one gets left behind and no one slows down for someone else. The post-run table at the Headquarter is where the crew actually becomes a crew: stories get told, new faces become familiar, and the next run gets planned over coffee and food.
