Founded in July 2023 by Kajsa in Malmö, Sweden, rusa.running.club grew from a small group of friends into a supportive community of over 400 women runners. Rooted in Kajsa’s desire to recapture the camaraderie of team sports, the group prioritizes enjoyment and connection over speed or competition. Their weekly medium-distance runs invite women of all paces to share movement, conversation, and local Malmö scenery—from urban neighborhoods to waterfront paths. Each run starts and ends at the same spot, making it accessible and stress-free, and often concludes with casual socializing at nearby cafes or bars. Embracing inclusivity without fees, rusa.running.club fosters a welcoming atmosphere where women can relax, build friendships, and experience Malmö’s unique blend of urban life and nature. Through collaborations with local brands and community events, the group strengthens its role in the city’s vibrant, social running scene.
