The track at Stade Universitaire is quiet at 18:45 on Wednesday evenings until Begat Running Club arrives. Clément and Arnaud founded the crew in May 2025, bringing together their knowledge from Begat, a sports nutrition brand for endurance athletes, with a vision for what Grenoble's runners needed: performance and community in equal measure. Coach Alex, a 31-minute 10K runner, leads structured track sessions while Saturday social runs cover medium to marathon distances at easy pace. Around fifty members now train under a live weekly program adapted to the group's fitness and calendar goals. What sets Begat apart is rigor without pretension: coaching that tracks every runner on the track, not just the fast ones, and post-run coffee that feels natural rather than obligatory. The crew trains year-round, Wednesday and Saturday, because commitment is what they model.

What began as concept created by two friends named Théo in Paris has become Grenoble's answer to slowing down, looking around, and tasting the city while running through it. Here in Grenoble we spotted a gap between the running world and the city's vibrant food culture, and launched Food Runners Club Grenoble in November 2025 to bridge it. Every week crew gathers about 20-30 runners for easy 6-7 km run through grenoble, with an arrival at cafés, bakeries, bars and local businesses.The Philosophy is simple: connection over competition, friendships built through movement and shared discovery rather than emphasis pace or competition. Every participant is welcome, regardless of speed, is welcome.
