À PROPOS DE LA COURSE DE NUIT ÉLECTRISANTE
La Course de nuit électrisant est une activité annuelle au profit du Centre de santé du sein du Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont.
Chaque année, environ 550 participants costumés se rassemblent. Ensemble, ils marchent et courent pour la cause de la santé du sein qui leur tient particulièrement à cœur.
Toute la communauté est invitée à s’inscrire et se joindre à la 11^e édition de la Course, qui aura lieu en nouveauté au Parc Rotary St-Anselme à Dieppe, le vendredi 5 juin 2026.
Les fonds recueillis sont utilisés pour financer l’amélioration des services offerts aux patientes du Centre de santé du sein du Centre hospitalier Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton.
Le Centre offre un programme complet pour la santé du sein, incluant la prévention, le dépistage et le diagnostic précoce pour toutes les femmes référées. Grâce à une approche intégrée, les patientes bénéficient de services offerts par une équipe multidisciplinaire œuvrant ensemble, sous un même toit, dans un environnement à la fois accueillant et innovateur.
ABOUT THE ELECTRIFYING NIGHT RUN
The Electrifying Night Run, is an annual fundraiser dedicated to improving services offered at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre’s Breast Health Centre. For a few years now, close to 550 participants in crazy costumes, get together for the occasion to walk or run. Together, they walk and run for this cause that is very dear to their heart.
The whole community is invited to register and take part in the 11th edition of the run, which will be at Rotary St-Anselme Park in Dieppe, on Friday June 5, 2026.
The funds raised will primarily be used to improve the services offered to the patients at the Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre’s Breast Health Centre in Moncton.
The Centre offers a comprehensive breast health program, including prevention, screening and early diagnosis services for all referred women. Based on an integrated approach, patients benefit from services provided by a collaborative multidisciplinary team, all working under the same roof in a welcoming and innovative environment.

Points East Lighthouse Run/Relay

Sign up a team of two or four members or run the 29-kilometer course as a solo event. The race begins at 8:00 a.m. at the historic East Point
Lighthouse. Following the Points East Coastal Drive, you will weave your way through some of the most scenic coastlines in Prince Edward Island finishing at the Souris Lighthouse on MacPhee Avenue.
The cutoff date for the preferred shirt guarantee is May 27, 2026.

This will be the 6th year! Will occur through rain or shine, only a natural disaster will stop us.
This trail run has TWO options:
24 Hours (Up to)
32 Hours (Up to) 100 Miles - If you complete you get a Buckle. Feel free to go farther. If you complete 200 Kilometers, you will get an additional piece of Swag (included in price!)
Takes place at the Wentworth Provincial Park.
The loop is approximately 4.59 km, a mixture of single track, gravel and a short paved section. Low technical and low elevation.
There is no time limit per loop.
You are encouraged to complete as many laps as you wish.
This is a CUPLESS EVENT! Cups will NOT be provided for hot/cold beverages.
There will be one aid station at the Start/Keep Going line which will have water, an electrolyte drink, boards to mark your laps, and some nutrition basics.
Participants will be able to camp the night beforehand if they wish free of charge. All participants can setup their own aid station in the park, many spots available along the course route.
RDs will be onsite the Friday evening (June 12th 2026) at 6pm to show runners where they can camp.
********* Important Note for Camping! We will have a designated area for camping, you must be inside this designated area. Parking a vehicle elsewhere is fine **********
All participants will be encouraged to wear a headlamp and reflective gear if running past dusk.

celebrate movement, community, and the beauty of life. This year’s run takes place on National Indigenous Peoples Day, making it an especially meaningful way to come together in celebration.

Participants can choose from a 10K, 5K, or 2K distance. Walkers are welcome in the 2K and 5K events.
Following the run, join us for a post-event breakfast and awards ceremony. Breakfast for registered participants is included with registration. Guests are welcome and may purchase breakfast tickets at the door. No purchase is required to attend post-run events.
If you can’t join us in person, we also offer a virtual run option. Participate in the 2K, 5K, or 10K at any time during the month of June, in recognition of Indigenous History Month. Run in your own community, at your own pace, while still being part of the Summer Solstice Run.
The 5K and 10K races are part of the Nova Scotia Road Race Series, with the 5K designated as a Performance Series race. Both distances are Athletics Canada certified.
Virtual Run Details
Virtual runners may register for the 2K, 5K, or 10K. Registration closes June 1, 2026, with runs completed anytime between June 1–30. All virtual participants will receive a medal. Summer Solstice Run T-shirts will be available for purchase during registration.
Virtual participants may choose to pick up their race kit or have it mailed. When you complete your run, track your time using your watch, phone app, or fitness tracker, then log your results in Race Roster to be included in event standings.

What a great way to celebrate Canada Day! Join the festivities and participate in the first Kids of Steel Triathlon (K*OS) of the summer in Victoria Park along the beautiful Charlottetown waterfront.

Swim: Pool
Bike: A fast, flat paved CLOSED bike route paralleling the Charlottetown boardwalk.
Run: CLOSED road parallel to bike route
Check in: Begins at 7:15 and continues to 7:50. Kids will get their markings and bibs. Bikes and gear will be brought into the transition zone.
Start time: 8:00am with kids in the first wave meeting on the pool deck to go over the course. We will do a little intro clinic for the kids before the race.

The Island Run
On Saturday, July 4, Island Walk hosts the 3rd Annual Island Run—set along Section 27 of the Confederation Trail. This scenic 12 km route stretches between Cardigan and Montague,
offering a beautiful way to run, walk, or bike at your own pace.
This is a non chip-timed event, focused on enjoying the experience and the landscape. Afterwards, join us in Montague for lunch at Bogside and a chance to win some great prizes.

Course Description: Flat, out and back. Starting at Columbus Field, site of the Antigonish Highland Games.
The 5 Mile Road Race will begin at 6:00PM on the Track at Columbus Field East End of
Main Street. The course is three miles (approximately) of a gravelled path (no traffic), with the remainder on paved streets. The start and finish are on a dirt track.
Entry fee includes: includes Antigonish Highland Games 5 Mile Road Race technical t-shirt for the first 200 participants. Refreshment ticket for those 19 years and over and access to the Concert Under the Stars.
The fee for Junior Runners (18 and Under) and Youth Runners (13 and Under) is $25.00.
Reception in Ceilidh Corner will follow the race.
Prizes: Cash prizes for the top three Male and Female runners. Antigonish Highland Games medals for the top three finishers in each age category.
