This race course has 2-way traffic on the Ganatchio Trail in the Little River Corridor and due to participant safety and space constraints, we ask no running strollers or dogs on course for Moon in June.
We encourage finishers to post pictures of their journey and share with the community to celebrate!

Race Packet Pickup at The Running Factory (5480 Wyandotte St. East) from 10:00am-8:00pm on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25 from 10:00am-5:00pm. ^
^Late registration available during race packet pickup times (CASH ONLY) and Race Day (Cash Only) starting at 7:30am on Sunday, July 26 for late packet pickup and last minute sign-ups only if the event i^s not sold out in advance!
START and FINISH at the Windsor Firefighters Monument at the Windsor Civic Terrace. Distances include a 5K Run or Walk, CKLW AM800m Kid's Run and Kid's Dash.
OUR ROUTE! Run or walk on the beautiful Riverfront Trail west through Dieppe Park, past the Legacy Beacon and Streetcar No. 351, through the Windsor Sculpture Park, then returning back to the Firefighters Monument to FINISH. The course will feature a number of Police, Fire, Essex-Windsor EMS and CBSA vehicles off to the side in honour of all local first responders.
Only the first 450 registrations will be guaranteed a Finishers Medal. Those signing up after that will still get a t-shirt, but no medal.
Plus, all adults registered will now receive a coupon for a free massage from the students at the Canadian College of Health, Science and Technology.
Running age group awards for 1st place in each 5 year age division plus 1st place overall M/F. Post-race refreshments and food from Tim Hortons.
RUNNING CLUBS...$100 cash for the Social Running Club with the most participants and $50 cash for the second largest group!
This run/walk will provide financial support for the Canadian Mental Health Association, The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario and The Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund.

CYCLE CANADA'S SOUTH -DISCOVER CANADA'S SOUTHERN MOST REGION ON A FIVE DAY CYCLING ADVENTURE
5 DAYS OF RIDING |20 - 97 KM PER DAY | ONTARIO'S NEXT GREAT CYCLING DESTINATION
Join us between 10 and 14 August 2026 as we cycle through Windsor, Essex and Pelee Island. Soak up sandy beaches and island breezes, visit local wineries, craft breweries & distilleries - all while enjoying scenic and flat riding on newly developed and signed cycling loops. We will stay overnight in the communities of Windsor and Leamington as we ride 5 fully supported loops in the region. We'll of course be riding the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail as well as the newly created Sandwich Town loop, Heritage loop, Wine Trail, with options to visit Pelee Island and the newly constructed and cycle-friendly Gordie Howe International Bridge to the US. Please note that the event registration fee supports the charity's work to organize the 5 day event. Roofed accommodation is an additional cost. University residence accommodations are available in Windsor where camping is unavailable. Please visit our website for recommended and supported hotels and motels. We recommend that when you register for the GWTA, you also purchase Race Roster's Enhanced Protection to refund the registration cost should unexpected circumstances prevent your participation.
