Mudskipper SwimRun Challenge - Parry Sound

Come and join us for a great combination of Swimming and running at the premier SwimRun event in the country. Now in its 7th year, the Mudskipper SwimRun Parry Sound features a 12.9K and a 25.8K distance, with everything from flat and fast to cross-country sections that take you into the area's many trails.

NEW FOR 2026

Mudskipper Parry Sound 25K distance is now the

Mudskipper Ontario SwimRun Championships,

part of the Mudskipper Championship Series.

This event will feature our 25K Championship course that we have used previously for our National Championship Event.

Parry Sound Open Water Swim

Now in its 5th season, this event is unique and challenging. Come and join us in the wonderful waters of Georgian Bay.

Swim distances

2K, 4K, and 10K open water Swim.

Our swim course is a 2K loop that starts at Waubano Beach and runs to the famous Parry Sound Salt docks and back, where the conditions can change quickly, making for a challenging event

Parry Sound 10K Ultra Swim

This 10K event runs over 5 laps of our 2K course, starting at Wabano Beach, up to the salt docks, and back. All of it is in the beautiful waters of Parry Sound Harbor.

Parry Sound Runs Trail Run

Come and enjoy a beautiful run along the trails of Parry Sound from Wabuno Beach to the North Shore hiking Trail before heading south along our well-marked 5K course.

We at Canaqua Sports are very proud of this event. Now in its 5th season, it has become one of the premier events of our season, bringing in people from across North America.

NEW TO CANAQUA SPORTS

Canaqua Sports is happy to announce that their local triathlon association is sanctioning this event and all of our Championship Series Events.

For those who are not members of a triathlon association, please register by using the Non-Members section. You will be asked to purchase a 1-day registration to participate in this event.

For Triathlon Ontario members, please enter by clicking on the event of your choice. You will be asked to provide your Triathlon membership number.
