Ottawa Spartans—this one’s built to break you in the best way. We’re back at Calabogie Peaks, one of Ontario’s premier outdoor destinations, where steep climbs, brutal descents, and technical terrain will test every muscle. Nestled on the shores of Calabogie Lake and at the base of Dickson Mountain, this venue delivers a perfect storm of natural beauty and unforgiving challenges.
Expect punchy elevation, gnarly singletrack, and the kind of obstacles that separate the weekend warriors from the true Spartans. Only 50 minutes from downtown Ottawa, this course brings mountain grit and lakeside views together for an unforgettable race weekend. Whether you’re chasing a podium or your first medal, Calabogie will make you earn it.
This weekend also features Spartan Trail Races.
Calabogie Peaks is the tallest public ski resort in Ottawa, situated at the base of Dickson mountain and at the shore of Lake Calabogie. Here Spartan Trail racers will find an excellent mix of wooded singletrack trails, some technical running, and plenty of climbs with beautiful views over the lake. Racers should plan to stick around after the race to visit one of the local microbreweries and explore the lake on a pontoon boat!
This weekend also features Spartan Obstacle Course Races.
