A little bit about SAGSAR:
SAGSAR is a fully volunteer-run, non-profit organization committed to delivering the highest level of response when someone goes missing in a wilderness setting. We cover the largest geographic area of any SAR team in Nova Scotia. Our dedicated volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Guided by the SAR motto, "so others may live," every donation we receive directly supports our ability to mobilize, reach remote areas, and assist those in need.
Donation Options
Not interested in running the race but want to donate? We have other options!
If you aren’t able to run but would still like to donate you can utilize the peer-to-peer fundraising option within Race Roster registration and sponsor a runner, or head over to our website or on the left side of this page and click the ‘donate’ button!
A special thank you to the North Shore Volunteer Fire Department for letting us utilize their space!
