From big races to Saturday morning group runs—find running events and connect with the local endurance sports community.
New for this year is a pair of technical trail races that will put your endurance to the test!
Runners will catch a shuttle from the Treherne Ag Grounds (race central/finish line/parking lot) down to the race start line at the Pinkerton School cairn.
The scenic 10k race is a dash down quiet, forgotten country roads - rolling hills provide some elevation challenge as the route gradually descends back to town.
The start of the 10K covers maintained gravel for the first mile before switching to meandering turkey trails, and eventually to single-track trail as it links to the newly-developed Boyne Trail system.
The 16k/10mi race begins at the same Pinkerton School cairn, but instead heads south down PR242 to the Pinkerton Lake lookout and monument. From here, runners find themselves tackling a grass trail through the Pinkerton Lakes Wildlife Refuge - a semi-maintained, looped path through a parkland forest, past a picturesque ski shelter and back to the lookout tower. The route then heads north on PR242 to the school cairn, where it joins the 10k route back to town.
