Did you know that by simply learning some of the basic fundamentals of running, along with a proper warm-up, you can become a faster runner and incur fewer injuries??
Join us every Wednesday at the Victor Mager Track, 81 Beliveau Road (across from Dakota High School), 7:00-8:30pm to learn how every road runner can get faster and incur fewer injuries! Registration is only available to 2026 MRA members for the low cost of $50 + GST!

We are excited to welcome runners back for the fourth annual CMV Canada Half Marathon in 2026! What began as a single, powerful act of awareness has grown into a community event dedicated to shining light on congenital CMV, the leading infectious cause of infant disability in Canada.
All participants will receive a high-quality commemorative medal, and the post-race celebration will feature refreshments and a lively atmosphere.
Wheel & Walk for Stroke Recovery
Sunday, July 12th from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
In support of the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba.
Our mission is to provide support and increase life participation for stroke survivors and their families. We have grown to provide support and recovery programs for all of Manitoba. In the last year, we have provided resources to over 8000 stroke survivors!
To continue and develop new programs, we need help from our community. So, join us Sunday, July 12th for our Wheel and Walk Party. Walk, Wheel, or just come and meet some amazing stroke survivors in our community.
All monies raised stay right here in Manitoba to subsidize new equipment and our new monthly life-enhancing experiences program.
Registration begins at 1:00pm.
The Stonewall Quarry Run is a 2K Trail, 5K & 10K Road Race that serves as a fundraiser for IKD Manitoba Karate. The race start and finish are right next to the Quarry Park Heritage Arts Centre. Our 5K & 10K courses are registered by Athletics Canada.

The Joy in Action main events in Steinbach (July 25th), Brandon (August 8th), and Selkirk (August 22nd) bring people together in their own communities to move with purpose. With both competitive and family-friendly options available, these events make it simple for anyone to take part and be part of something meaningful.
You can register either individually or as a team.

Choose your pace and enjoy a relaxed, family friendly run or walk filled with joy and connection. With optional JOY Stations along the route and creative awards that celebrate spirit, kindness, and fun, this is a chance to make memories together while supporting The Joy Smith Foundation.
Cycle Selkirk Park to Netley Creek
This non competitive 30 km cycle is about getting outside, riding together, and supporting The Joy Smith Foundation’s work to prevent human trafficking. This year we've introduced a beautiful new 30 km mixed terrain cycling route from Selkirk Park to Netley Creek and back. The ride features quiet country roads, scenic wetlands, abundant wildlife, open prairie views, and picturesque cycling scenery in Manitoba's Interlake.
👕 Swag & Awards: All paid participants receive a premium technical event shirt. Timed runners will also receive a digital finisher certificate, with physical medals for the top finishers. (Note: Free registrations for children 12 and under do not include a shirt).
Fundraise & Win
Joy in Action includes a run, walk, and cycle fundraising challenge supporting The Joy Smith Foundation’s work to prevent human trafficking.
As you fundraise, you'll earn rewards along the way—raise $150 and receive a custom embroidered Joy In Action hat, or raise $300 and earn a Joy In Action hoodie. You'll also have the chance to compete for exciting prizes, including an expense-paid Tundra Buggy Adventure for two in Churchill, Manitoba, featuring airfare, hotel accommodations, and meals.

12th Annual Superhero Run to Fight DIPG
Join Madox’s Warriors on Saturday, September 5, 2026 for the 12th Annual Superhero Run to Fight DIPG and other childhood brain cancers.
This event brings our community together to raise awareness and support critical research for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), one of the most aggressive childhood brain cancers. Every registration helps fund research aimed at finding better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Dress as your favorite superhero and run or walk in honor of the brave children fighting these battles. Together, we can bring hope to families and help move research forward.

A family friendly 5K trail running event in honor of Cst. Brett Adam and his battle against Guillain Barre Syndrome.

Starting/Muster Point: Greenspace east of the Fort Gibraltar parking lot (866 Rue St. Joseph)
½ Way Point and Aid/Spectators Station: The unnamed green space off of Rue Maisonnevue
Who: Anyone and Everyone, Police or Civilian, Adults or Kids
Fitness Level: Any and all, Run, Jog or Walk.
Alternate Path Option: For those who wish to take an easier/more comfortable route an alternate path will be available on race day. This path has minimal elevation gain and less technical trails.
