February 22, 2026 will be the 12th celebration of RunGo's annual Dash for Dogs, the fundraiser for BC and Alberta Guide Dogs. We've raised over $190,000 through these years, and it's an amazing local event in Stanley Park, Vancouver. Join us for a 2k, 5k, or 10k run or walk, and enjoy pancakes, prizes, puppies, good tunes, blindfolded walks with guide dogs, and more!
This is a race for people – you don't need a dog to run. The RunGo Dash for Dogs course follows some of the most scenic trails and paths of Stanley Park.
Guide dogs and good dogs are welcome, dogs must be on leash and under control at all times for the safety of the working guide dogs.

Dynasty - The Dog Who Inspired RunGo & Dash for Dogs
In October 2025, RunGo and Dash for Dogs founder Craig Slagel said good-bye to his beautiful dog, Dynasty. 🐕🦺😢
Dynasty started her life as a guide dog until her early retirement. In 2012, Craig was lucky enough to adopt her, and she quickly showed she was as smart as she was loving, often trying to train him instead. Learning about her guide dog background inspired the creation of RunGo, a running app that offers voice-guided navigation so you can explore the world screen-free and with confidence.
In 2015, RunGo held its first fun run in Stanley Park, a small “launch event” that doubled as a fundraiser to thank Dynasty for her inspiration. That one-day celebration became the RunGo Dash for Dogs, now entering its 12th year and having raised nearly $200,000 for BC & Alberta Guide Dogs. From startup meetings to race days and TV interviews, Dynasty was always there, the heart of the community, quietly reminding us what trust, love, and connection look like. She’s been featured on CTV, CityTV, and Global BC, bringing awareness to the work that guide dogs do and helping build a more inclusive world for everyone.
Dynasty touched thousands of lives, through her gentle heart and spirit, her story, through RunGo, and through every wag that started a conversation about how much dogs can change lives.
You can honor her legacy by signing up for the 2026 Dash for Dogs or making a donation. Thank you, Dynasty, for guiding us every step of the way.
