Donations are to our charity partner Saanich Fire Charitable Foundation, who direct the funds to benefit pediatric oncology patients and their families via Victoria Hospital Foundation and Island Kids Cancer Association. Tax Receipts issued for donations of $20 or more.

There is something for every member in your family to enjoy (walking, running, playing, eating, entertainment and more!!) Join us in the race against childhood cancers and we will see you at the finish line!

KidsRun Victoria is put on for our community by a group of eager volunteers. Sole Sisters Victoria has partnered again this year with the Saanich Fire Fighters' Charitable Foundation with a goal to raise awareness of childhood cancers and to support Pediatric Oncology for Vancouver Island's Kids! Through nurse education, social support for children affected by cancer and their families and needed equipment, we CAN make a difference!

Our goal for 2026 is to raise $20,000 for pediatric oncology.

Do you have family and friends who have not yet registered but still want to? It's not too late! Online registration is open until May 2nd at noon!

Or register at package pick up at PowerWest Athletics located in the Royal Oak Shopping Center in the Pennbridge Building #102-4475 Viewmont Avenue 12pm-3pm May 2nd.

Or you can also register at the event starting at 9:30 am on Sunday May 3rd.

The Prairie Inn Harriers Running Club is pleased to present the 39th Annual HARRIERS ELK/BEAVER ULTRAS.

The fast and flat 10 kilometre trail circuit around Elk and Beaver Lakes is considered as one of the premiere races of its type in North America. Runners complete 10 laps for the 100K division, 8+ laps laps for 50 Miles and 5 laps for 50K, while walkers complete 4 laps for 40K.

The race attracts some of the elite Ultramarathoners from Canada and beyond. It is an excellent qualifier for 100 Mile events such as Leadville, Angeles Crest or Wasatch Front. The course is accurately measured and certified splits are available every 10 kilometers. You will not find a flatter trail ultra anywhere in Canada - P.R. material!. You'll find great organization, support, hospitality and race services.

Triathlon can be an intimidating sport to get into. This event is a perfect place to start. Providing people a welcoming, supportive and fun triathlon experience. Who knows, you might love it and be ready to sign up for amazing local races after!

It starts with a 500m pool swim, followed by a 20km bike ride, and ending with a 4km run.

The swim is located at the Commonwealth Pool with transition in the parking lot.

You then head out onto the bike course which will be a 2 loop out and back along Elk Lake Drive (*map will be provided) and coming back into transition for the run.

Come out of transition onto the run, where you run part of the bike course and through winding neighbourhoods with slight elevations around the Commonwealth Pool area.

Elk Lake sits just 20 minutes north of downtown Victoria on the Saanich Peninsula. It's warm, calm, and familiar to thousands of local swimmers, and it's the training ground for Canada's Olympic Rowing Team.

Hamsterly Beach faces south, so you get full sun right through the evening in July. It's a beautiful place to swim, and an easy place to spend the day.
