Continue the tradition of running the 5th Street Mile on Canada Day,
Wednesday, July 1, 2026!
Come join a longstanding Comox Valley tradition! We will be running the parade route, down 5th Street and into Simms Park before the parade. This is a fun, family-friendly, fast mile.
Register before 9:00 pm, June 30th. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS.
Bib Pick-Up: Tuesday, June 30th 2:00-5:00pm at FOVEO Running.
Day of bib pickup starts at 8:30 am at Lake Trail Community School parking lot (805 Willemar Ave., Courtenay.)
Race Start: 9:30 am at the corner of 5th Street and Woods Ave.
Timing: No official timing. Finish line clock will display elapsed time from start.
Refreshments, Draw Prizes, & Awards: Immediately after the race at Simms Millennium Park. All kids receive a freezie award!
Due to safety concerns, no dogs, bikes, or skateboards. Strollers at the back.
