    This beautiful 21.1KM & 7 Mile course circles Burnaby lake, giving you the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, exercise and more chances to view birds and animals in this wilderness environment. Join other walkers & runners on this scenic course throughout the trails of Burnaby Lake.

    Located in the middle of the city, Burnaby Lake Regional Park is a stunning wildlife sanctuary. The lake was created by a glacier 12,000 years ago and its shores were home to sawmills in the late 1800's.

    If you have participated in the Rubber Ducky Half Marathon you know the route BUT for this race we will run around the lake in the opposite direction! Which direction will you get your personal best time?

    This beautiful 21.1K & 7 Mile course circles Burnaby lake, giving you the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, exercise and more chances to view birds and animals in this wilderness environment. Join other walkers & runners on this scenic course throughout the trails of Burnaby Lake. Located in the middle of the city, Burnaby Lake Regional Park is a stunning wildlife sanctuary. The race will provide you with an opportunity to be active while enjoying the scenic trails of Burnaby Lake.

    We race Burnaby Lake twice a year with annual races, Shamrock’n Race in March and the Rubber Ducky in October. The Shamrock’n Race 7 Mile and Half Marathon circle the lake clockwise and the Rubber Ducky 7 Mile and Half Marathon circle the lake counter clockwise.
