Leading Edge Physiotherapy RunWild is a challenging, competitive, and fun event with races designed for every level of runner and walker.

RunWild is excited to return to St. Albert on May 3, 2026, where we will be celebrating 15 years of running and walking! Events include the 5km, 10km, Half Marathon and WildOnes Kids MaraFun. Don’t forget to check out the Race Village, which includes a kids’ fun zone, live entertainment, food and beverages and much more. We will also be offering the virtual option again for 2026 for all race distances.

On May 2, 2026 we will be bringing back our WildOnes MaraFun satellite race sites in Spruce Grove and Sherwood Park in addition to the St. Albert WildOnes MaraFun on May 3, 2026.

The Lakou Backyard Ultra is part of the River’s Edge Running Series which raises funds for Olive Tree Projects, a non-profit in Haiti. The races are run totally by volunteers.

Lakou is a true “backyard” ultra as it is held in the backyard of the race director's home.
