2 running events in Kralendijk, Bonaire

The Bonaire Marathon is a low-key event in the Caribbean. Runners will also have the opportunity to run a marathon on the island of Anguilla two days before on Tuesday 10 March. Runners will have to be self supportive and wear a timing device to confirm their distance and time with race officials. The organizers will only provide a course, water, and an official finish time. We have a very generous cutoff time of eight hours.

Warm Up by Boneiru Salú: 6:00 A.M.

Start Time Adults: 6:15 A.M. for 5KM Walk & Run

Start Time Kids & Youth: 7:15 A.M.

This event serves the purpose of raising funds for initiatives to promote the prevention of diabetes as well as educate others about managing diabetes better. Also, this is to encourage and bring awareness to the citizens of Bonaire about type 1 and type 2 diabetes in prevention and management.

• 5 KM Run & Walk (17 Years & Older)

• 1500 Meters Kids Run (10-16 Years Old)

• 800 Meters Kids Run (8-9 Years Old)

• 400 Meters Kids Run (6-7 Years Old)

• 200 Meters Kids Run (4-5 Years Old)

Participation fee:

1. Adult 5 KM Walk & Run: $ 15.-

2. Kids Runs: $ 10.-

*All participants will receive a Dri-Fit shirt and a Finisher's medal.
