Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just love to walk and take in the scenery, SKECHERS Wicked Wine Run is for you! Each course will be held on beautiful properties or various partner vineyards across the country giving you a rare opportunity to view and tour a vineyard like no other. With the option to choose between a 1K or 5K course, or both, there’s something for everyone. Along the 1K course, you’ll find four sampling stations where you can enjoy world-class wines from the partner vineyard. And if you complete the 5K course, there will be a complimentary glass of wine waiting for you at the finish line.
Enjoy access to our post event party where you can enjoy the tunes of a live DJ, eat some delicious food from our food trucks, purchase more wine and play “that’s when we became best friends” games, creating the perfect atmosphere for an evening out with your friends and loved ones. Don’t miss out on the fun-filled event!
Bring a friend, put together a team, or fly solo to meet fellow wine enthusiasts as you sample wines from the vineyard. By participating, you’ll not only be treating yourself to a great time but also supporting our charity partners!

About the Lafayette Res Run for Education
The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the Lafayette Res Run for Education which is traditionally held the third Sunday in October.
The 2025 Lafayette Res Run for Education will be held Sunday, October 19. 5k: 8am, 10k: 8:15am, 2 mile: 8:45am in downtown Lafayette, CA.

Beneficiaries of the event are the local schools and the services and programs of the Chamber. See below for what we gave back to our schools last year!
The Run is the city’s most popular “family affair”, involving kids, parents, grandparents, and hundreds of serious runners from throughout the Bay Area. Join us in 2025 for the 10k, 5k, the 2 mile run/walk for fun or the Reservoir Challenge! Sprinters, walkers, the “stroller brigade” and many of Lafayette’s top four legged residents are welcome to join in the fun.
The first 100 students to register from each school will receive a voucher for a free 1/4 pound of bulk candy from Zoonie's during packet pickup!

Run for Austin’s Lungs is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held in honor of baby Austin, who is bravely battling chronic lung disease. Join us to celebrate his first birthday, raise awareness of his Chronic Lung disease, and support his ongoing medical care. Every step taken helps give Austin the breath of a brighter future.
The entire registration fee (minus the $4 processing fee) goes directly to Austin’s care. After you register, the site will ask if you’d like to make an additional donation—this can simply be left at $0, meaning your total charge will be $54 for race registration.
If you’d prefer to support Austin without registering for the race, you can do so by selecting the Donate button instead of Sign Up.

October 11, 2026
Join us on October 11, 2026 for the Clo Cow Half Marathon, 10K & 5K in charming Historic Downtown Petaluma! Wind your way through picturesque Sonoma County farmland and rolling hills, where friendly sheep, horses—and of course Moo-Cows—will cheer you on every step of the way. Sure, those climbs are a challenge, but the sweeping country views at the top are well worth the effort!
The three cross-country races will be held in China Camp State Park in San Rafael, CA, as in the past several years. These races are run as a memorial to John Lawson, a Tamalpa Runner who died suddenly in 2000.
Note that start times are changed this year. All women regardless of age age start first at 9:00, masters men start at 10:00, and open men start at 11:00.
The course is the same as it was in 2025 at roughly 4.20 miles, which is mostly rolling single track trail and approximately 1/4 mile on asphalt. Start is near Miwok Mdws gate. Finish line and registration is in Miwok Mdws picnic area.
Warm-up and warm-down. In order to prevent a reoccurrence of a collision between a returning racer and a runner warming down on the course, we ask that you do your warmup and warmdown runs off of the course once racing has started. Suggestions include going south on Shoreline Trail from the Miwok gate starting area, along the stretch of road from the start on up to the finish area, and running carefully on the paved road.
State Park rules limit the number of people in Miwok Mdws at any one time to 200, so please help us out by limiting your stay in the picnic area after your race. The race filled up in 2023 and 2024.
We prefer not to deal with race-day entries, but can accommodate a few last-minute substitutions, mostly for runners who registered early but did not claim their bibs. Email the RD if you need help with submitting your entry on October 11th.
Parking is limited. Please carpool to the greatest extent possible. Park along San Pedro Road, which is close to the start at the Miwok Mdws gate, but about 300 yards from registration in Miwok Mdws picnic area.
For more race details visit the John Lawson Tamalpa Challenge Website or email the RD at [email protected]
The County of Santa Clara Reentry Resource Center and its partners are hosting a 5K run/walk to raise money to support the immediate needs of justice-involved people (clothing, food, hygiene, transportation, etc.). The in-person 5K will take place on Saturday, October 17th at Hellyer County Park with a race start time of 9:00AM. Participants who choose the virtual option can run or walk the race on the day and time of their choice between October 17, 2026, and October 31, 2026. Runners will receive a Rise Up and Run race shirt and medal.
Packet pickup information will be coming soon.
Help support this effort by registering for the race, sponsoring other participants to run or donating to buy new clothes for those reentering our community from jail or prison. Many of these individuals have no clean clothes in which to start their reentry journey.
Here are some ways you can help:
Register and run the race!
Sponsor a race registration for an individual or a family.
Donate monetarily to buy new clothes for individuals released from custody.
Buy or donate new clothes for reentry clients leaving custody.
Every day at the County of Santa Clara Reentry Resource Center we see clients ready to make dramatic changes in their lives. But having a felony record can be almost as restrictive as being incarcerated. Access to jobs, housing, and other opportunities becomes incredibly limited due to employment and housing restrictions and social stigma.
Yet despite these challenges, we see clients determined to clear those hurdles. They are taking college credit classes, working their way up from minimum wage jobs to management positions and union apprenticeships and some are entering peer mentoring and counseling professions to help those who are following in their footsteps.
You can help support individuals who are just starting this journey to change their lives and share their talents with our community. Each person you help to rise up makes our community stronger.
If you would like more information about the County of Santa Clara Reentry Resource Center, please visit www.sccreentry.org or email Juan Guevara at [email protected]
We look forward to partnering with you for social change.
