A triathlon is a multi-sport event involving a swim, followed by a bike ride, and ending with a run. The length of each leg is the distance specified next to the ticket type.
What is STANDARD Club Membership?
Standard Club Members are those who have chosen the STANDARD option when signing up or renewing their Triathlon WA Membership. This choice provides comprehensive insurance coverage for both racing and training activities.
Do I need a Club Membership to participate?
Not at all! Select the 'General Entry' option. We will provide a one-day insurance cover for your race, ensuring your coverage during the event. This is why we require a race entry fee.
If you’re already a member of another club, you can join Busselton as a second club without paying the insurance fee again and race FREE at our club events. This will be discounted at the checkout
What ages are the TRYstars programs suitable for?
This is a FUN event for kid's aged 5-12 years. Kid's ideally will need to be able to ride unaided without the use of training wheels.
What equipment is needed?

What is a Standard or Premium Membership with AUS Triathlon?
This is a paid membership with AUS Triathlon which provides cover for you to train and race. This is usually purchased when you join a triathlon club. This is an annual membership which runs from July 1st to June 30th. When you join you will get a TA number, which you will need to provide during registration. This number will then be checked to make sure you have a current membership, efficient to cover your race.
If you do not have any current membership with AUS Triathlon, you will need to purchase a ODL: One Day Licence. This will provide cover for 1 race and will need to be added on when you register from the products section. If you have any questions or are unsure on what you need to do, please reach out and we can help :) [email protected]

KC Australia Merchandise Pre-Orders
No Pick-Up Option for Merch Ordered Through Reg Portal:
All merchandise pre-orders via the registration portal this year will be posted to your nominated shipping address ahead of the event. This is because in past years, our supplier has had a lot of unclaimed pick-up orders on race weekend.
If you select add on merch items (not including the ODL fee, Free Participant Tee, MiTime insert, or Bossfoto Pack) then a flat $10 fee will be added at checkout to cover postage via our supplier, KC Australia. This postage fee applies per transaction and will only be a max of $10 (for Australia-wide postage) no matter how many merchandise items you select.
Items in rego may show a higher display price initially (because the system includes the $10 fee), but at checkout will be corrected when the $10 shipping fee applies to the whole cart and not each item.
KC Australia will reach out directly to any competitors that require international shipping.
BFOT pre-orders close 15th March with delivery / collection available from mid-late April.
If You Prefer to Pick-Up Merch (Not Posted) Order Direct from KC Website:
To be able to Collect your merch from KC Australia or on event weekend at the merch tent directly, please place your pre-order through the KC shop portal: https://shop-kcaust.com.au/pages/bfot-merch
