SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER 2026 The Dandenongs Trail Runners are hosting a FREE practice run along the course of the Rollercoaster Run in the lead up to the event. This ‘Rollercoaster Recce’ is effectively a self-supported run and you should use it as an opportunity to take all mandatory gear. Treat it like race day, but be aware the on-course support available on race day will not be there for the recce. EVENT START / FINISH LOCATION Kalorama Memorial Reserve, Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Kalorama VIC, Australia EVENT SCHEDULE * 7:00am - Meet and briefing at Kalorama Memorial Reserve. * 11:30 - Run concludes at Kalorama Memorial Reserve. RUN OPTIONS * 8km Local Loop * 12km Loop (Mad Mouse) * 23km Loop (Original) * Approx ~17km - the 23km minus Dodds track 23km Pace Options As you sign-up for the 23km, they will be invited to join one of four paces for the 23km loop: * Wombats (Slow) – 3:30 – 4 hrs * Possums (Medium) – 3:00 – 3 hrs 20mins * Kangaroos (Fast) – 2:40 – 3 hrs * Emus (Super Fast)
